View Full Version : My "Peeps" Science Experiment

So I remember something I read on here about the Easter treat "Peeps" that horses like them when they sit out for awhile and get crunchy (or something like that).

I have some peeps that have been sitting out for a month (almost) and they are still squishy.

Explain the peeps thing to me again.

Yes, I am bored and yes I am feeling too lazy to look it up.

I know my horse would eat anything I fed him too. I was just wondering!

When the weather is dry, Peeps out of their wrappers get stale. Not exactly crunchy, but no longer squishy. More chewy. When the weather is humid, they stay soft.

Some horses - like some people - prefer one consistency, some prefer the other, some (maybe your horse?) will eat anything, and some will spit them back in your face no matter what their texture is like.

Ohhh, ok thanks! I'll take them to the barn tomorrow and see what he thinks.

I had just found them where I stuck them in a closet (opened). I was like, "I need to do something with those".
