View Full Version : My mare's first jumping clinic - with Beth Underhill!

I mainly breed dressage horses, but sometimes a horse comes along that tells you it really prefers to jump. Such has been the case with Ulysses (Ferro x Wanroij) and now his full sister, Zenda NSN. I might add that their dam shows the same predilection, although she has produced some great dressage horses.

Beth was a fantastic clinician!!!

Zenda, now six, has not been out and about much, but being very bold, this was not a problem. Once the jumps are high enough, she focuses on the job at hand. She really seemed to be enjoying herself.

Your horse has a really cute jump! :) She's a beautiful animal. What breed?

She is KWPN-NA (Royal Dutch Sporthorse), Olympic Ferro x Wanroij pref x MilkieXX - enough thoroughbred blood to give her plenty of heart and go. Zenda has her Prok (same radiographic requirements for Approved KWPN stallions) and Ster predicates. Beth said Zenda was excellent over oxers!!

Very nice. She is very pretty, and I think she will become a nice jumper.

I so wanted to come audit this clinic! Living away from the maritimes is a big time bummer sometimes. Looks like it went well!
