I just took the plunge and bought myself one of these; I was wondering whether anyone else used one, and if so, how they liked it...?

No problem; I will let you know how well it works after I try it out (for the first time) tomorrow!

I'd never seen that before, but it looks really cool .

one of my friends has one - and was surprised at how well it worked (she thought it was just a gimmick)

I have one. I like it. It works well for most studs. Only ones I'm having issues with are my really small grass tips. But for the vast majority of the studs it works great.

ETA: It was total impluse buy on my part....when I was at the check out line at Dover, they had just gotten one in and I picked it up and started playing with it :)

I actually use a gator grip wrench instead and it works amazingly! Fits all of my studs and it really easy to use.

I, too, use the gator grip. Never had a problem, even with small road studs or tips.

Another Gator Grip fan here, though that one looks like you could maybe get a bit more torque on your studs.
