Hi I do not post very often but I find the chronicles to be so informative. I thought that may be someone could help. I remember seeing in a catalog a floppy wide brim that can be worn with a helmet. I cannot remember which catalog and I was wondering if someone would know where I can find those.

I know Cashel makes one, here is a link I found:

I have seen other but don't know any brands to look under.

Thank you for the tips. I found this one that has even better sun protection:

I prefer what a friend uses and plan to get one for myself- it's a sun cover for a regular construction hard hat. Floppy brim is even all the way around and I like the look. Here's something similar though hers doesn't have the flap behind:

I want to get one of these. http://www.helmetshades.com/ I've had the Cashe;s and they are too floppy, as soo as you're trotting or cantering they start flipping up and waving around. the Helmet shades come in different widths and colors and they have one with a malleable brim (wire sewn in no doubt) which lets yo shape the brim to suit you. You have to provide or make your own hat band if you want one. I know someone hwo has a couple of them and uses them for endurance riding so you know they stay in place and hold up.
