How are the Mountain Horse boots?

My Ariat paddock boots are definitely waterproof (feet stayed dry when wading through mud puddles in the pasture, anyway) but they're also winter boots so will be too warm to wear pretty soon.

I have the waterproof terrains and they keep my feet dry, even after wading in the water drenched pasture to get my horse last week. There is also non-waterproof terrains available. Perhaps that is what you have.

Mine were definitely the waterproof ones (supposedly...)

Let me rephrase my question: Best boot for being out in the rain all day, walking through puddles, etc. Something the man from snowy river would wear.
