Legend - Frequency of Injections

The information that comes in the box with the multi-dose bottle says that Legend IV can be administered once a week for a total of 3 times. Does anyone know the reasoning behind this? What if you want to spend the money on giving a Legend shot once a week? Would that be harmful? Since my understanding is that Legend is a short-term remedy, I don't see why one couldn't go with weekly shots. Is there anyone that does this? I'm not sure all vets even would have an answer to my question. I suppose I should call someone at Bayer....but who?

Obvoiusly, check with your vet, but I think that might be the loading dose. When I started my horse on Legend, he got one shot each week for three weeks, then monthly shots after that. He's also on Adequan. So, he gets Adequan on the first of the month, and Legend on the 15th of the month.
