my horse is recovering from an injury to his lower back. i had the chiro out on monday and she said there was movement in his left spine but not much in his right. she was able to adjust him and did acupuncture with the electrodes.
he has been off work due to the weather for quite some time however this past week i have been able to lunge him at the walk in a very large circle for 20 min at a time. the chiro and i both agree that he needs to rebuild his topline and that will help him tremendously.
i am putting him on robaxin starting tomorrow to help with the inflamation. he is also on previcox (equioxx), isoxsupine and surpass rubbed on his back 1x a day.
has anyone ever had a similar problem with their horse? i am looking for the best way to start the rehab process.
thanks!
