I do my own vaccinations. Does anyone sell Prevenile in a single dose option? All I can find is a bulk pack and all I need is one! Is there another West Nile vaccine (not made by Fort Dodge) that is similar?

I could only find them in trays of 10; don't think you can buy them -I actually have one extra that I'd love to sell because I only need 9 (but buying 10 was still cheaper than having the vet do it) - I'm in between Albany and Saratoga, NY if anyone needs one...

None of the other west nile vaccines claim full immunity
for a year from a single dose. My vet advised me that
you can give Vetera as a booster if you gave Prevenile
last year (but I do live in the northern USA where
mosquitoes are only active half the year). Have you
asked how much the vet clinics in your area want to
sell you a single dose? I don't usually need just one
dose of vaccine (a larger herd here) but my vets will
sell a loaded syringe for administration by owner on
that day for not much more than the catalog price for
vaccine.

I bought a 5-dose from Agri-med last year for my two horses.
I have a 3-dose left, expiration 05/11.
Would that still be safe to use this year, considering it was mixed last year. Even though I bought the vaccine myself, my vet administered it and she said to me back then, keep it refrigerated until next year.
I'm a little worried over it, would it really still be okay .
Did anyone find out if Chariton Vet does indeed carry the single dose Prevenile or not?

Oh boy. Timely. I was going to order vaccines and switch to Previnile so I give prego mare one less vaccine a year. I didn't realize you couldn't order a single Previnile. I love the idea of Vetera since I can do one all in one a year. But, I didn't give Previnile last year.
Thoughts? Has anyone actually found single doses? If Previnile is in Vetera, why would they have had to have it last year? Wouldn't it be the same as giving Previnile by itself?
