My big move to the new barn is coming up and I'm thinking off adding a calming supplement before the move and keeping her on it after to help.

Any recommendations for calming supplements that won't test? I may keep her on during show season as she tends to be a nervous personality.

Also - I read somewhere on COTH forums that you can do preventative ulcer treatment...is this something that I should do or think about since she is a nervous mare? If so, what was the dosage on it?

One more question...She's currently on Fast Track probiotics, as they seem to be difficult to get (my old BO is a dealer for them) are there other brands that people are happy with or should I stick with the Fast Track?

Thanks in advance!

I would ask my vet about the calming supps. and see what he/she thinks is best in your situation. I had a pony that didn't do well on them and he colicked badly enough to need surgery. Probably a one in a million, but doesn't hurt to know it is a possibility.

Good luck!!

I like Thia-Cal for a legal calming supplement.
