Just was given a bag of MSM made in Germany. Made by Makana. No directions, I don't think, on quantity to be fed. "99,9% rein."

Want to feed it to an 11-hand school pony, and other horses, but need help on quantity to be fed.

Thanks, anyone, who can suggest amount. Am guessing it would be identical really to, say, Vita-Flex's MSM, which is also pure.

(Was told that this MSM, since it is from Germany, that the standards are different, and that it's higher grade, more pure, etc. Don't know if that's really the case...but just in case.)

I could say for sure later, but I believe my VitaFlex scoop is in the range of a heaping tsp size for 10gm.

Thanks, JB (Ha! am guessing that 'later' means after a little visit to the Vita Flex container??)

99.9% rein means it's virtually pure.

Soooo, take it from there?
(gm, as in gram?)

If I am not mistaken a level tablespoon is right at 15grams

LOL, yeah, well, I was at work when I first replied. And, since I didn't check COTH before I went to tuck in the Fat Black Beast who is on stall rest after having a large incision to remove a sarcoid, I forgot to check my container  I WILL remember in the morning when I actually dole out the MSM.

Ok, 1 *very* heaped tsp, or 1 skimpy tbsp is what my VitaFlex MSM measures as the 10gm scoop included.
