View Full Version : Trainers in Raleigh Area

That will travel? My trainer has abruptly dropped off the face of the earth and left all her clients boom! So I would like to ask if anyone has a recommendation for a dressage person who would be willing to come to the farm for lessons? The farm is open to all trainers at this point. I'm thinking I may have to trailer out for lessons, but if there is someone who knows anyone. Please help

Where is the farm actually located? North, South, East or West? Near what landmarks, so to speak? What level (roughly) are the students/horses at right now, how often do most of you ride (daily, weekly) and what are your goals?

Thanks for responding. The farm is very south, Fuquay Varina area... and it is kind of new so there are not alot of boarders yet. They mostly left when the trainer quit, but I like the place. Someone could build a clientel there easily. Right now, I'm not riding very often (weekly), and I've been out of it for about a year. I have shown up to T3, but just want to get going again right now.

Dawn Weniger is in Apex, and travels (and is terrific!). Fuquay may be do-able for her. Her website is firstviewfarm.com

Lynn Doki is great although she is in Aberdeen near the Horse park. But she may be willing to come if a group can be scheduled. She is excellent! Her website is www.walhallafarm.com

Bailey Cook is on the north east side of that area and might not come all the way to FV, but it would be worth asking. Her website is: http://www.baileycook.com/

I don't know anything about them, but there is a trainer advertising as now being at Pepperwood (in Fuquay I think) on the back cover of the most recent NCDCTA newsletter. You may have already seen this, but I thought I would pass it along.
