I am curious what you guys think of Coriano Z? Is he built downhill ? Does he have a lot of TB in him?

He does have blood, he is out of a Lord mare. He can breed small. Here is a picture of him on solid ground.

Around 59% TB and I wouldn't say that he's high behind.

We have a granddaughter (our Ana Bella- (Condios- Ekstein)) of Coriano that is the spitting image of both her sire and grandsire. We saw her as being somewhat high behind when standing but exceptionally light in front when moving. She received a star when inspected by KWPN last fall, and not a whisper was made about her being high behind....maybe because her movement, free jump and IBOP wowed everyone so! Also, it appeared to greater and lesser extents as she matured.

The boys are smaller than the girls in this line. Corofino , Coriano , Camiros , Diarado all medium to small.
Coriano can throw "sheepsheads" and small. You need a large framed , leggy mare that is very feminine and noble. He makes them very rideable and very scopey. Top stallion !

leslie- do you have coriano semen? Coriano is a great hunter sire and I would love to breed one mare to him. I know Karen doesn't have any but didn't know if someone else did?

The Coriano mare on my farm is 15.3hh, stunning (she has the prettiest head and neck) and she is incredibly scopey. She is in foal to Balou and will go back to work after weaning. This mare could easily do the hunters or go back to the jumper ring.

"Sheepshead"? Really?
Yes.......it's a known fact that he can do that sometimes. I've see at least 50 myself. You don't ride the head though.....

Hello Everyone!
We are fortunate to own a Coriano daughter, Moriana (Coriano X Beltrum (Saluut) X Purioso X Joost). Moriana had a successul Show Jumping career career in both The Netherlands, and then the USA (I was told that she went all the way up to the Small Tour GP. She then went on to have a very successfull career in the Hunters, as "Madison Avenue", including a Res. CH. at Washington in the Children's Hunters! This mare is a saint, and all of her foals have her fantastic disposition! We just started Catapult, and he was started by a child, and is w-t-c and jumping single fences....He was "Born Broke" and is an incredible jumper (hunter form and will get a good piece of the hack too!!). She has had 4 foals for us so far, Catapult and Charmed SCF (v. Judgement), Dreamweaver SCF (Converter), and Eros SCF (v. Balou du Rouet). Both Dreamweaver and Eros were both First Premium foals (the twins didn't go), with excellent comments.
I look forward to seeing can't re's Balou foal out of her Coriano mare, as it will be very closely related to our "Eros".
I have included a few photos below of Moriana, and Dreamweaver and Eros. More photos of Moriana can be seen on her page at:
http://www.sportingchancefarm.com/moriana.htm
Hope this helps!
Warmly,
Karin

We have a 7 year old mare by Coriano x Caletto II who is really doing great.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wVu2h_xemOE
Coriano refines a lot, brings rideability and they are carefull. More then once somewhat downhill build and to ride.
We have two mares again in foal to him, despite the (for european circumstances) high studfee of 1250 euros.
You can see on e german site www.lk-sh.de a pdf file with breedingvalues and he is doing great on several traits. Klick on:
