Guaranteed amounts of sugar starch and fructan in feeds marketed as ‘low carb’ are now possible, IF enough of you ask the person responsible in your state.

It would really be helpful if some of you could help me track down the contact info for the person responsible in your state so I can add to the list at the end. Go to your states Dept of Agriculture website, and search on ‘feed’. The person in charge of feed regulations is who you need to call or email to make your needs be known.
This has taken 5 years to get to this point. Implementation is up to you.

Post here if you get info to add. I'll check back when it stops snowing and my internet works again.

Thanks, I really appreciate it. I've updated the article to include these.

Any more people interested in getting NSC guaranteed in their states?

Mcal/lb should already be on all feed labels as per AAFCO requirements.

If it isn't then they are not legally labeled and should be reported to AAFCO.
