For some reason, the smell reminds me of something from my childhood, but I can't quite pinpoint it. Tang? LemonAid?

To me it smells like bananas... pina colada sounds right too... they have obviously added a flavoring of some sort. Whatever it is... it seems to work... the horses really yummy it up!

PIXI STIX!!!!!! This is exactly what pattnic stated when she smelled Gus's CC for the first time. And, I agree.

Smells divine... but tastes NASTY! ;) Don't ask me how I know that .

The dry vege oil I get from HorseTech smells like Juicy Fruit gum.

It reminds me of bubble gum. I tried it and found it to be tasteless. I mean, it is just dehydrated oil. My guy eats it up, though!

OK... NOW I am going to have to run out to the barn and smell it specifically. You guys get me into so much stuff! Grrrrrr.....

Definitely bananas/ sweet tropical

Just to be correct, it is not dehydrated oil. It is partially hydrogenated fat - and that is something that I do not want in my diet and something I will also keep out of my horse's diet. It's like how they keep the oil from separating in cheap peanut butter. I spend the extra bucks to buy peanut butter that doesn't contain partially hydrogenated oil. But, that's my humble opinion on the stuff. ;)

Well, it sure puts weight on well and the horses like it. Definitely smells like bananas though.

Glad I wasn't the only one who wondered if it tasted as good as it smells...

Whatever it is, my mare eats it plain, and any other supplements that I mix with it. It makes it great for being sure it doesn't fall out of grain!

Hawaiian Punch.

It did work for a fussy mare who had to board for breeding.

But oil's waaaaaay cheaper.

I think it smells like bananas, too! Or tropical something....I have also tasted it, and it sadly doesn't taste as good as it smells.

Hard Keeper also smells so good. Like my grandma's freshly baked bread. Yum!

I had some sort of doll when I was little (cabbage patch or maybe strawberry shortcake?) that had a scent to it that I think smells like cool cals!

I have never seen Cool Calories here but am betting the smell is fenugreek aka artificial flavour. That is what flavours pancake syrup and many other things including oral antibiotics for kids

Yes! I get that too! Sort of cherry-like too, but definitely bubblegum. The first time I bought Cool Cals and smelled it, I wanted to take a taste... but with all that fat I suppose I'm glad I didn't!
