I'd like to go synthetic to keep it light for my POA and from what I can tell, Syd Hill seems to produce good quality saddles.

Although, I did see the same saddle on the Kates website for $100 cheaper and less expensive shipping too.

Here is more info on it:

I've owned a couple of Aussie saddles and tend to try out any I come across for sale and I literally have yet to meet a Syd Hill that I liked. I don't know if it's the way I'm shaped, the way I sit, or what, but Syd Hills that should fit me feel really uncomfortable *shrugs*

I absolutely love my older Jackaroo from the Australian Stock Saddle Company and was *meh* on my Down Under Campdraft Special so I recently sold that one.

The Aussies are completely foreign to me (no pun intended :)).

From what I was reading about the saddle, they are pretty well made and the company seems to have a good reputation.

Are there any other Synthetics that are under $700.00?

Or I guess I could order it, and see how it fits.

DH finally caved in and is giving me $500.00 toward an endurance/trail saddle...:)

I have nothing constructive to add other than I think it's pretty.
