I'm interested in what people think of the stallion Noteworthy, by G. Ramiro Z. He is approved GOV.... Anyone have offspring?

Oooh, I want to know, too. I've been circling that horse for evah. I find his pedigree very interesting.
Would also like to know pedigrees of the dams of the foals, if possible. As I suspect quite a lot of us might, I have a mare with Ramiro in her 3rd generation, but when is lots of Ramiro too much Ramiro?

Noteworthy is by Ramiro Z and his granddamsire is also Ramiro Z. His dam's sire's sire is Nimmerdor.

He used to stand in Michigan and he and his offspring would routinely sweep the breed shows. He is very, very impressive in person. They would often have him stabled in the temporary stalls and he was a gentleman even if there was a mare next to him!

Actually want to bump this -
Not to hijack b/c anyone with foals from Noteworthy PLEASE give us feedback, but I personally love Ramiro and was very serious about my question and hope the pedigree buffs will also weigh in.
Noteworthy against my mare would mean Ramiro featuring three times in the foal's pedigree: 2nd and 4th generation on sire's side, and 4th on dam's side.
Really wondering what, if anything, constitutes Too Much - especially such a "strong" horse like Ramiro - in a pedigree?

We've used the stallion Radjah Z quite a bit, and I absolutely LOVE his foals. I've met him in person a number of times as well which helps. I'm looking at a mare by Noteworthy as a potential broodmare, and while I'm familiar with the breeding....I don't know much about him specifically. To be honest, I'm more keen on Radjah's pedigree because he is out of an Alme mare...it also helps that he competed at the GP level and was approved in Europe.

I usually just browse these forums but HAD to post I have a friend that has a couple offspring from Noteworthy and she raves about them. She said he is the result of using genetics to their greatest potential and he is most definitely stamping his offspring. In 2005 Noteworthy was ranked in the top 10 for the USDF Top Producing Stallions list. My friend doesn’t have a website but here are some foals he has produced: http://www.knollwoodfarm.com/noteworthy/noteworthy_foals.htm

Check out the pedigree of Contendro. He is linebred to Ramiro.

Caballo is another example and is of the same dam line as Contendro

I bred a Noteworthy colt in 2002 out of my hot, reactive TB/Dutch mare. Noteworthy is a very impressive stallion and I felt his linebred Ramiro breeding would stack the deck in favor of terrific jumping/dressage talent in his foals. However, Noteworthy's owner at the time suggested that I NOT breed my mare to him because of temperament issues... his and hers. She turned out to be correct. The resulting gelding is tall, gorgeous, correct, very athletic, very intelligent, hot and reactive; a "professional ride" for sure. He is now in England, owned by an amateur who loves him to death but probably will never jump or show him.
Linebreeding always stacks the deck for good as well as not-so-good. I have read at least once on this board that linebred Ramiro breeding can result in tons of talent as well as temperament issues, so carefully consider the temperament of your mare.
