Here he is his first day of showing, poring rain, puddles but he was going like he had done pre-green all year.

It is a little low for him, but you gotta start somewhere. I think he will LOVE the hunter derby, that would be just his cookie, gotta think gotta think gotta think!

Thanks, placing in the pre-greens from his show Debut on last week amongst experienced competition and several top hunter trainers saying he can be one of the top hunter stallions in the US had us re-thinking how to start his show career. We know he can do the big jumps and has potential for an international jumping career as did his parents and siblings, however since we can not do jumpers first we will do the hunters first and possibly move him to jumpers after next year. We actually were told by several well known trainers we would be crazy if we did not do this after they saw him going around....

I know the fences are small for him but he takes them in great style and it is not about the fences as much as that you can't get there looking like a drunken sailor. Baron is looking great placing in almost every class with no experience and looking better every week as he gets some mileage under his belt. He continues to show his awesome character and totally loves the show and Brandie his rider.
My other project, a Fuerst Gotthard gelding just started in jumpers this week and is right away reserve champion of his division so we are having fun with it. Will be there Wednesday and Thursday, visit us if you are out there....

No Thermal this year as it will be done before HITS Tucson is over.

Baron had an absolutely fabulous start in AZ, we and Brandie are thrilled with how easy it was for him, he just got back home for breeding,

Sorry but on the website it says 2009 news, we are in 2010 right?;)
Also on any of my computers the image on the website are all "squished"-don't know if your webmaster can do something about that.
Great news about Baron, very nice to see a stallion campained and doing well!!
