No, it hasn't been identified yet, and I don't believe there is any real way to up your odds of getting it... though theoretically liver to liver should be the best chance.

We have had a few Liver X Liver Crosses. One mare had 4 foals, and 3 came out Liver Chestnut and one was bright Chestnut.
