I'll try to fix it.
I put it in a Totilas thread in the dressage forum and it worked.

I like his ability to sit, very pretty/fancy front end too. Seems a bit tight in the back - understandably due to circumstances. I would not mind having some like him around my farm:lol:
Wow, the handler doesn't stand a chance keeping up with him does he LOL He looks quite stifled in his movement - he wants to move out, but can't. Boy I'd love to see him ridden!

This. :)
Might be a silly question, but why don't the show the horses on the lunge? Surely it would give the horse more freedom to move out?

Is there frozen available for the US on him? There are so many I like over there that we can't get. :(

I have a story to tell about Tycoon (by Donaumonarch) . I have admired him for many years, and about 7 years ago I purchsed some of his frozen semen from his breeder Klosterhof Medingen. Tried it twice with no sucess. Some good friends of mine had a tb mare that conceived by waving at the stallion.
So, I gave them the last dose. The vet inseminated the mare, checked the semen and told them if she conceives, "its by imaculate conception".
The vet had tears in her eyes when she did the preg. check a few weeks later. The result ? A very nice mare that is currently in foal to Ironman for her first foal, and she will be 5 this year.

On a whole he is yummy! Quite flamboyant in the front. What worries me is, if you freeze frame the video, while tracking up, there is not much overtracking. I think this is due to his long loin- which also to me looks a bit weak. He seems at time to be a bit lazy in the hock in comparison the the front shoulder / knee freedom when moving forwardly straight. I seek more balanced movement in front as well as the more overlooked hind. Even more preferable, I seek more movement from behind than front (This of course being my own personal preferance).
Don't get me wrong, he is lovely however my worry would be his ability to collect for upper level work and maintaining the sit because of the longer loin. I am not saying that he couldn't, but mechanically it will most likely be more difficult. He will obviously shine in his lengthenings and extended work... but we all know the upper levels require the even more difficult collected work. It will be interesting to see this boy as he moves up the levels. I will be keeping an eye on him in hopes my analysis is debunked.
Thank you for sharing him with us!

He's got nowhere to go :) The hind end can't track up if the front end can't get out of the way.
Does anyone have any video, even a short clip, of him being ridden? Or moving at liberty?

Tycoon will not be "moving up the ranks" anythime soon. He's 17 years old. He has made his name as a breeding stallion. From his web page where he currently stands in Germany:
Tycoon is a self-confident and dynamic, extremely athletic and masculine stallion with a very good canter and spectacular trot. He is also a remarkable jumper.
Tycoon was graded 1996 at Alsfeld. He passed his stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf in the same year, finishing 13th out of 50 with a total of 109.82.
He competed successfully in both showjumping and dressage before concentrating mainly on stud duties.
Tycoon has an exceptionally performance orientated pedigree. His sire Donaumonarch was a Grade A international showjumper. Dam-sire Damaskus was successful in both jumping and dressage. His grand-dam, Tugend, is also mother of the Premium Stallion Tolstoi, who sired the Champion Stallions Farinelli (NMS 1996) and Freudenfest (NMS 1999). Tugend is also mother of the international showjumpers Tiflis and Trenk Quattro. The first German cross country Champion, Tümmler, sire of Tenor and Tivano, comes from the same motherline.
Tycoon himself has produced some outstanding stock and has acquired a good reputation especially as a dam sire. Not only famous Lantana, mother of the Champion Stallion Le Rouge, is his daughter but so is the mother of C'est Bon, who was Reserve Stallion in the same year.

How much more out of the way do you want the front end? LOL When moving straight and forward (even while somewhat constricted in hand), we should be able to see glipmses of natural overtrack here and there. I did not see this. Again, not saying he is capable, but just giving my opinion. I too would like to see him free or ridden. This really is a hard video to be able to get a true opinion of the horse from. The handler is hindering because he simply cannot keep up, but while showing a WOW front, for me, this does not show a WOW hind. I am very interested in seeing more though.
For me, as an owner of several longer loined mares, I would personally pass on him to them. BUT... I do have 1 shorter loined mare who he may be one to add to her list. I do like him, but need to evaluate evrything about a stallion, considering any faults to improve my future generations. I will admit to picking a stallion apart. I over anylize!! LOL (figure better than under!!)

Ahh...an old man now. Retired to stud and living the good life!! Lucky him!!
What level did he compete to in dresssage? Do they have any footage of him under saddle? I would love to see more of him.
