We're putting up a perimeter fence through the woods, mainly to keep our dogs in and other critters out. It won't be used by horses or other livestock.

We're planning on using woven wire field fencing and steel T-posts. I've googled and found multiple recommended post spacing distances, anywhere from 8 to 16 feet. Anyone have actual experience with this type of fence installation?

Any other helpful tips would be appreciated :)

I'd go closer like 8 or 10 feet but not 16 feet. You might check with the manufacturer as to what they recommend.

When I was looking into woven wire fencing I contacted the manufacturers about spacing, depth, etc. and they were extremely helpful. Sorry... can't remember off the top of my head.

I have no-climb and my fence posts are 8' apart.
