Still snowing heavily this morning, but it quit mid morning. Nice blanketed white farm (but I still want spring).

Here's the highway (yes, this was already on the highway, off roads much worse) this morning during my hay run. Snapped a few pics while stalled behind a snow plow that was a few vehicles in front.

My gray colt in the snow, looking a bit ghost-like. Ears up as always. I think this horse sleeps with his ears up.

The Bernese Mountain Dog having a blast. Wish I had her coat, and I might enjoy it more.

Two of yesterday's pictures, where we ended up with a wrap around 6+" snow drift, covering three horse pens, seen from the inside out:

Here the path dug out so the little dog could go out, that drift by the house a good 5':

Right now, sunny, beautiful winter wonderland, drifts shrinking already, from the house porch, looking at the barn:

Thank you for showing that - I am just sitting here crying because we will be putting our berner down on monday as he is dying of MH Sarcoma. Your picture made my day.

And here I am, sitting in Ontario, with practically NO snow. I am envious!

Prodomus, I am so sorry about your dog! It is so sad! I am sure you will spend the w/e hugging him and telling him how much you love him. We lost two very dear dogs (friends') in two days last week. It hurts!

Prodomus, I am so sorry about your Berner. The picture of that Berner running through the snow is pure joy and it made me smile, too.
Some of you have a lot of snow!

We've had a rougher than normal winter. I'm counting the days until spring!
