I've made my normal rounds of websites for the most economical source of 99.99% pure MSM, but thought I'd see if anyone might have a sleeper source :)

Well my preference is Vita Flex MSM, but it's also very economical. I usually google it and see if anyone has it on sale. Otherwise, I get the 15 month supply from Jeffers. It's $51.88 plus $11.95 freight, but use code ZZJ1 for $10 off and your monthly cost to feed at maintenance dose is $3.60.

If you time your order when you're buying wormers or other supplies, you can get the 6 months supply and use the same code so long as your total's over $50. Last time I ordered I got the 6 month supply and 12 Jeffers Ivermectin wormers shipped for $41.

I use the Vita Flex MSM as well. I feed it to five horses for various reasons and get the 10 lb container from SmartPak. I usally have a free shipping code to use too. Sometimes I half expect to see a squad car pull up with the UPS truck when ordering that amount though!

Cool. Vita-Flex is typically the winner when I go hunting as well. Good to know I've about got it covered!

Oh - CoolMeadows, your "15 month supply" is what size container?

I found a 4lb size of V-F on sale at KV Vet for $23.95, though haven't gotten as far as checking shipping. That's $4 cheaper than the next cheapest place I found.

I buy the Dumor MSM from Tractor Supply, it's $14.99 and it lasts me forever with two horses!

At only $15 for 10lb, I'd be concerned about the quality.

Usually I get Vita Flex from Jeffers (especially when I'm already ordering the big daily wormer), but if I need to order from Valley Vet, I get their 2lb Select the Best MSM - that weight has free shipping. So if I have enough other stuff to get the regular free shipping, I add 3-4 2lb MSMs to the order. Usually that ends up the same/cheaper than Jeffers+shipping.

Thought I'd give a little update.

The best I could find right now was Vita-Flex 10lb from KV Vet. Jeffer's code for $10 off isn't valid anymore, and KV was the only place I could find where shipping was cheaper AND there was no "handling fee" for an order under X amount. Even though the actual product was a couple more than other places, it ended up a good bit cheaper.

I get the 10,000mg pellets from American Livestock 20lbs container for $65.
I thought that was a good deal.

Edited to add : sorry ignore the above, I missed the 99.9% pure in your post, DUH.
