This Friday? Oh no! Mr.Frugal and I have to work at a meeting away from home, so no computer. And before you ask, no it isn't a come to Jesus meeting. I have those with my horse just prior to flipping her.
So please accept our regrets. Where are the bride and bride registered? If the wedding descriptions and photos on the BB move us, we might be tempted to send a virtual gift.
PS: Don't bother packing beer. I think they have a fair amount available in Canada. And may I suggest as a recessional "The Lumberjack Song" from Monty Python? It always makes me cry.

who would like to preside over the wedding?
also, any volunteers want to write the vows?
there's so much to do! http://chronicleforums.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif
and, oh no, the frugals aren't coming?!
all we ask is that this thread be enshrined in the favorites section of the BB... and cash.

Can we extend the invitation to the barrel racers and pole benders, after all they too abuse their horses runing them at top speed around object with the hopes of flipping them before flipping the pole or barrel over. I know some ofthem could probaly do it with a beer in hand.

Thanks, KC! Yep, rolled a horse going around a barrel once. I must've been sweating a little, though, 'cause the can slipped out of my hand. http://chronicleforums.com/images/custom_smilies/no.gif
Has anyone made a decision on the food served at the reception? I vote baby finger sandwiches. What about a huge purple Peep cake?

Hubby looks so cute in his 3" heels, eventhough they KILL his feet. Does he have to shave his legs? And yes he has the flower throwing down pat. No problem there. http://chronicleforums.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Hey!
I just got my invitation. By Golly, I'm gonna be there, if nothing else to get my beer back.
Now, I have the Crushed Velour Purple Tux ready.. I'm just wondering, is thei a Formal Wedding? If so, I will wear the full length Cape that goes with it. If it's an afternoon affair, I'm going with the half-cape. Or coures, it's all flannel -lined. (I have to keep the "Honorary Lesbian" wear going).
No, will the ceremony be conducted in English, or Canukian? Eh?

The Right Reverend Mickster would be most honored to Officate at this joyous affair.
Can I get an "Amen" from the crowd, eh?
Now, To do this right, Might I be allowed to bring in some of my Associates? They will just be able to bring in the Gospel Singing that this Most Joyous Affair needs.
Can I get an "Eh!" from the people?

Mr. and Mrs. Scootie are honored to be invited to attend the nuptials of Phaxxton and Duramax. Mr. Scootie will be wearing a simple purple silk gown cut very low in the back. Unfortunately, he does not have a very hairy back, but some mascara to the peach fuzz should do the trick. In honor of the horse flipping ceremony, I plan to find something that will go perfectly with my purple hard hat (I really do have one, even in real life!).
And I do hope our friends from Rancho Stinky Farts can make the trip!

Dear Wedding Guests,
Thank you so much for being such an important part of our special day. We could not have had our purpleriffic horse-flipping lesbian wedding without you all.
Special thanks to our ring bearer and flower girl (mrs. and mr. KC, respectively). The pictures we have of you in your outfits will forever be a part of our blackmail file.
And, of course, very special thanks to Canada for hosting the wedding and providing their fantastic beer - and whoever dyed it purple - you are the BEST!
Amen to you, Rev. Mickster, for bringing your gospel -style flare to our special ceremony on such short notice.
Thanks for all the laughs, and of course, thanks to eqnjumperrider, without whose trolling we would never have met one another.
So, go forth and flip your horses!
Love,
Mrs. and Mrs. Duramaxxton http://chronicleforums.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
