I noticed a press release on the Blue hors website saying Blue Hors Matine has been PTS due to a broken leg :( , it was released today but has now vanished. What an absolute shame :(

On the day today started hoppen blue HORS Matiné as all other days, where she came to fold to enjoy the freedom and the fresh air with its comrade, vallakken blue HORS Cavan. Unfortunately, it was the last day of Matinés life

one passer-by noted that there was something seriously wrong with the White jump at fold and warned their immediate staff in ridehallen of blue HORS APs.

- There was no doubt that Matinés right Front was broken by knees, and the veterinarian found immediately, that absolutely nothing was to do to save her life, tells Director Esben mills.

13-year-old blue HORS Matiné (e) Blue HORS silver MOON/monopoly, reared by inger B. Katballe, was just facing that had ifoles and hopefully make a career in cultivation. Hoppens sporting career has not been a long, but rarely large dimensions.

Under its fixed rytter, earlier blue Hors-berider andreas Helgstrand, did hoppen kometkarriere and succeeded in record time to be one of the world's most feterede dressurheste and without doubt the most well-known jump in the sport.

Of the World Cup weg 2006 halede the young Danish ekvipage into the whole world and won mesterskabets initial Grand Prix on the enormous Stadium in Aachen. Of the Grand Prix special won the bronze and of the Grand Prix Kür won Matiné and Andreas sølvmedalje. Their Kür-March was quickly the most popular dressurvideo on the Internet and, on the portal Youtube been seen almost 10 million times!

It is with great sadness that blue HORS APS today have had bid farewell to their splendid Jump, and it is without doubt a piece of news, which will touch horse efolk and dressurentusiaster throughout the world.

Why do people keep saying she and "her foal" died? As far as I can read the press release, it says that they "had planned on inseminating her with Blue Hors Zack' semen this spring."

I am kind of cold to dressage, but I loved watching her.

No embryo's...they were giving her time off so they didn't have to put her through the hormones:no: They were letting her be a regular horse...at least she got to experience that.

This mare's routine at WEGS made me want to switch from hunter to dressage, this is heartbreaking!:cry:

Exactly,Micoursin. Matine's magnificent performance with that happy expression on her beautiful face will be inspiring breeders and riders for generations to come. We are blessed with her tape which we can visit any time we feel the need to be up lifted and supported as to what is possible in dressage riding and sport horse breeding. While she left no foal,her bloodlines are here to carry on for her. In the mean time, I take comfort that Matine got to know the feel of sun on her back and wind blowing through her mane....running free.

I first saw the you tube video around the time I lost my once in a lifetime horse and it was the only thing that cheered me up.
She really made my heart sing watching her perform at WEG.

I've never wanted to do dressage until I saw her perform.

Thank you Matinée for being an inspiration, RIP dear girl! PS I know you are running free with my horse!

I don't know what it was about Matine but watching her always makes me feel emotional. She was the pinnacle of dressage horses, so much try and heart in her.

I wanted my own mini-Matine so much I bred my best mare to her sire Silvermoon twice in the hopes of getting a little grey filly. But it was not to be. I got two lovely foals but both colts. some things are just not meant to be. :(

Stolensilver, my partner in Denmark is trying to work out a lease for us on a Silvermoon mare. We haven't totally decided yet what we will do with her breeding wise, but my partner wants to use Don Schufro! I hope we can work it out - I have been out of breeding for a long time and am excited to get back in the game!

I hope you work the lease out on the Silvermoon mare DownYonder. He is an incredible stallion, vastly underused. I was hoping to stand him in the UK this year and was in negotiations with his owners but sadly they decided to keep him in Germany again doing live cover only. I was so sad when I heard their decision. :(
