So I haven't posted many pictures of this colt because he had a rough start in the beginning, spending the first week of his life at New Bolton. Then he developed a breathing issue and we believed he had a birth defect that was effecting his ability to breath. Turns out he had a bad infection in one of his lymphnodes and with antibiotics (for a month) he is doing great. So I thought I would update with some pictures. He is a July 2009 Premium Oldenburg Colt by Rosenthal out of our MMB TB Mare Aly Sue.

He is an awesome foal, already a pro with the trailer and very people oriented.

I think he is about 4 months in these pictures...he is almost 7 months now.

Thank you so much for posting pictures of your colt. I am especially interested as I will be breeding my Arab mare to Rosenthal this year. I hope I get a colt as well (because I am a gelding girl:)). Nice foal, and please post more pics as he grows. Glad to hear about his nice temperment. That is the #1 requirement for me!

You are very welcome lol. I love to show him off, but getting a good picture of him can be difficult because he is so in your face. I love love love his temperment. When we took him to New Bolton the nurse was very impressed with how easily he loaded on the trailer and commented on what a brave boy he was (because he needed to be scoped without sedation, and then have an ultrasound). We love him and Angela was awesome to work with. Good luck to you with your mare!
