He is at Markus Gribbe's new farm. The farm is sponsored by Swiss owners. Do not know if they have a website yet?

Maybe Marne Martin will see this and enlighten us!

Here is the link to Rohdiamant's new home. Yes, that IS the correct spelling--this stallion must have the most commonly misspelled name in the history of breeding. :)

I have a lovely broodmare by Rohdiamant and Crosiadore Farm has a magnificent coming two year old colt by him. I am a BIG FAN!!

I'm not sure if I've found them all, but here's Marne again. Isn't she a fabulous rider??!!

OK, I've looked at most of the pages and Marne is on almost all of them on either her bay gelding or chestnut mare. They are very photogenic so that makes sense. :)

Sorry about the misspelling, but glad you knew who I was asking about.

Thanks.

Joanne, I'm teasing you because it IS a commonly misspelled name. I hope you didn't take any offense to my ribbing.

Oh, no. No offense taken. It was sorta like hitting my forehead with a stupid sticker.

But tell me about Marne Martin. Is she training there?

Marne is training with Markus in Germany. She is a very talented AA who is showing her gelding at Grand Prix and she also has a very promising coming 5 year old mare. She is living a lot of the time in Europe for work, but also has a farm with her husband and assorted other horses in Maryland. She was also the President of Potomac Valley Dressage Association (our local GMO) for the past two years. I'm not sure how she does it all, and all so well, but she does! For sure she is brilliant and a very hard worker!

I, too, have a Rohdiamant mare who was bred by Rosemarie Boelts. Rohanna is a treasure. She was lovely under saddle and is one of my strongest producers. I have kept two of her daughters, as she passed on her best traits so strongly. Rohdiamant offspring are rare jewels as he gets older.

She's exquisite and love her breeding, are you keeping her? Is Rhodiamant semen available frozen in Germany?

I think Sabine will tell you that even breeding to Rohdiamont fresh, is now difficult! I left a mare in Germany for two years trying to get a Rohdiamont pregnancy. I was of course hoping for a filly, but had a colt. But oh what a colt! Would not trade that colt for the world.

exactly.
semen is poor and i spent 6(!) heat cycles on this pregancy, the last 3 cycles while the mare was boarded at vorwerks. reason why my filly was born so late in june.

i was actually "surprised" (to say the least) when i found the stallion offered for semen delivery again on their webside - i would at least have expected a note requiring mares being boarded at the stud station.
