I just paid $24.99 for 50lb of BOSS. Cough. Cough. I know a bag will last me at least two months, but come on. The price of BP went up, too. $12.49 a bag. I fondly recall the days just a few years ago when it was ~$7/bag.

So, what are you paying? I feel like I'm getting robbed. Not quite to the point of switching to something else, though! :)

i pay 21.99 for a 18kg (40lb) bag of BOSS and 21.99 for a 25 kg (55lb) bag of beet pulp. feed is a dollar or so cheaper if i buy from the bigger co op in town, but not worth it unless im already going that way.

feed has definately gotten more exspensive the past couple years!

Wow, I thought I did well with $15 for a 20lb bag. Obviously I need to shop around!

$20 for 50lbs at Sams when I can get it there.

Afraid to price beep. I've been feeding Vintage Victory this winter as it has beep in it.

I'm getting BP for $11.99 50lb. bag at Pioneer Feed in Ridgefield, Heinz57--if you're up that way, it is a good buy. They have good prices, but you'll pay tax.

BOSS - $16.99 for a 40lb bag at Tractor Supply Co.

40lb bag of beet pulp was same price ($16.99) but TSC was out. The clerk told me from now on their beet pulp would only be available in 20lb bags. Don't know what the price will be, but I'll find out soon as I'm about out.

BOSS $14.99/50# at Tractor Supply in Kansas. I feed it to the birds, not my horses.

I don't buy BOSS, but do buy beet pulp. Pellets/50 lb bags run $4.90...so I'm assuming you're buying the shreds??

Shop around. 50 lb of BOSS at the co-op is $20. Same price at Big R (farm/yuppie store) but only 40 lb. I stocked up on beet pulp last month for around $14/bag. Can't afford to buy flax anymore as it's gone up to $60+ for 50 lb.

My Southern States it's $8.99 for a 20lb bag. We had it on sale for a while for $6.99.

Beet Pulp is still expensive, I forget the price.

One local store has BOSS for $17 for 50 lbs. They advertise it in the paper every week. Most other stores are $25/50 lbs and up. I've not priced beet pulp in a long time. I believe it's running about $14/40 lbs though.

Well, it looks like I'm not getting robbed too badly.

Unforunately, shopping around isn't really an option. Three feed stores in town and Wal Mart are the only places that carry BOSS in quantities larger than 10lb bags, and of the three feed stores, $24.99 is the cheapest for 50lb. Wal Mart carries 20/25lb for ~$14.99.

I'm crossing my fingers that the cost of BP doesn't continue to go up. Its a main staple in my feeding program.

I paid $15.99 for a 50 lb bag yesterday. This thread scared me a bit so I bought two just in case!
