So I was at my local tack shop a few months ago and saw these really cool polo wraps. They started off as what appeared to be honeycomb gel, just like this pad
honeycomb pad (http://i48.tinypic.com/1078hg8.jpg)
and then maybe 1/3 or 1/2 way thru the wrap they changed into a regular white polo wrap. At the time I wasn't smart enough to take note of the brand. Ive tried googleing almost anything I can think of and I tried to find grand prix brand polos or ovation because both have that honeycomb gel type half pad. If anyone has seen these or knows about them, let me know? I was trying to look them up online because I do all my hore shopping thru ebay/paypal so I buy things online and cant find them online anywhere! any help is greatly appreciated:)thanks

no clue if this is what you are thinking of, but the first thing that comes to mind is the Equifit Polo Wraps.

Sounds like these, but these have the Eskadron Climatex bandage stuff not gel. I've used these before and they're a really great product!

You didn't by chance see them at Saddlers Row, did you? I think I saw the exact same ones, and I too cannot remember the brand name. If that is where you saw them, I should be going in the next couple days and will jot down the name.

I have seen the wraps with gel. I did not personally use them, but they were in the bin for general use at a barn I worked at. I always thought that they would be quite bulky and hot on the leg becuase the gel portion looked long. I am at the other end of the spectrum though and like the equifit or a rundown.

Hmm. I guess ill have to head to the tack store to resolve this, or atleast call them. They aren't Eskadron or Equifit, Ive gone thru all of their sites and their distributers.

spaceage- they were at The Equestrian Centre. Avon, ct.

I went to the tack store today, I think I found what you're talking about. They are called "Evolution Bandages". Were they in a red and black shoebox type box for packaging?

If she's taking about what I think she is, its a polo wrap with a gel part sewn on for the last 1/4 or so of the wrap. I'm trying to find them on google but its not going so well

I think I know exactly what you are talking about... The brand is Acavallo and they are known for their gel products.
