Thought some of you might care to see the progress on my parents' farm. The barn and storage shed roofs are up, but we have to wait until it gets warmer before we can do the concrete.

Think warm cozy thoughts this freezing weekend!!!

SO exciting!!!

I'm overwhelmed with the process of building a tiny run in/stalls/tack room combo on my little 5 acres.... I couldn't imagine all the work put into that!

Owings Mills is so beautiful, one of my best friends lives there (not on a farm).

Well the farm is in Mt. Airy, I just live in a townhouse in Owings Mills :) And unfortunately I'm more in the suburbs, not near all the gorgeous farms up towards Hunt Valley!

oh gotcha!

My friend has been trying to get me to rent a townhouse in that area ever since we grad. college this spring.

She's allergic to ALL animals though so my 2 cats, dog, and horse hair all over my clothes pose a problem...

I've only driven through the Hunt Valley area (ex boyfriend in Harrisburg PA) but the horsey-ness of it almost rivals my area ... almost

Gorgeous! The one photo brought an instant image to my mind of a wonderful gallop on a beautiful fall day with the leaves turning colors. Lucky girl!! :)

It's 36x72 with 8 stalls. Never plan on having that many but there is definitely enough acreage for at least 8. I hope to buy it with my fiance when my dad retires, but if we can't save up enough, we wanted it to be marketable if someone wanted more horses.

Here's the plan:

Ooo best wishes!

Even the best plans get pushed back; ours was supposed to be ready with the horses moved home before this winter! HA!

We just need some thawed ground and an end to this rain!

Thanks. I like that barn plan. I can't wait to see what it looks like when it's finished!
