View Full Version : Mare-sharing--free broodmare leases!

New thread for mare-sharing! Same concept as before, but we wanted to give a clean slate for the new year with listings that are more current.
Here's the previous thread (http://www.chronofhorse.com/forum/showthread.php?t=187869), for reference, and to bridge the gap into this one.
You're welcome to copy a post/relist a mare or a request from the previous thread and add it to this one.
Here's the skinny on the concept, for those not familiar:
We wanted to offer a place separate from the Giveaways forum where breeders offering or looking for FREE broodmare lease opportunities could get in touch with each other. So here it is!
Mare owners looking to rehome their girls are still welcome to post in Giveaways, but we thought keeping most of broodmare lease-specific posts confined to one thread here would be more convenient and organized and allow Giveaways to stay a bit better focused on true rehoming situations.
A few guidelines:
Leases must be FREE, except for taking over the horse's expenses.
To make the posts more clear, start off with a Bold Title that makes some of the basic info clear, such as whether it's a WANTED or AVAILABLE situation, some basics on the mare and your LOCATION.
Thanks!

I posted on the old thread a week or so ago, but I guess it's more appropriate to post on this one.... I'm offering two Thorougbred mares for breed lease in 2010.
I'm going to need to cut back in 2010, and am offering two TB mares for free breed lease. They can stay here and you just pay boarding (~200-$250 a month, its just feed costs, and that varies), or can go to your facility if it is safe.
Both mares are currently in foal, they both caught first try this year, and I have biopsy reports on both, they are both IIA's, and both have Caslicks in (the farm they came from does that for all their mares...). Neither are riding sound (not due to breakdowns on the racetrack, both mares are unraced, freak accidents).
First is Queen Tyree (Huckster xx/ Riverman xx/ Nashua xx), or "Trea". She's a 1998 bay mare with a star. Bigger in type, nice bone. Jockey Club registered. Really a sweet, sweet mare. Produces substantial offspring with SUPER minds, I can send you photos and a couple videos if you email me. Produced one winner on the track, the others have gone onto be nice sporthorses with great jumps. Trea is about 16.2 hands. Has good hooves. Lives fairly well in a herd environment, I don't put her in with super-dominant horses though, as I'm afraid she'd just get too beat up. Still needs to be presented to a registry for approval, she's in foal to Redwine for 2010, and I was planning to present her to GOV with the foal... but if someone really wanted to go with ISR/OLD instead, that might be negotiable. I'll pay for her Inspection with OLD NA or GOV... any other registry you would need to pay for. This truely is a super mare, a great find for sporthorse breeding. Had a pelvic fracture as a two year old. Healed fine, and has had five foals with absolutly no problems. Hence the 'divet' you see on her right hip area. She is due to foal May 18, 2010.

Kate's Unique (Pembroke xx/ Prove Out xx/ Turn-To xx) is a lovely chestnut mare, also with awesome bloodlines. Sweet as can be. Around 16.1 hands, Jockey Club registered, and entered into the MMB of OLD/NA. Great hunter type, produces beautiful offspring. Gets along fine in a herd, but I don't like putting her in with very dominant horses either. Gorgeous head, I have some photos of her offspring available too.... produces very leggy foals from what I've seen (her foals have all been flashy and elegant). She is due to foal June 11, 2010.

Basically I'm not likely going to be able to breed them this year, and I would like for them both to have a job. I would pay for their feed & upkeep until the 2010 foals are weaned, then they could move to your facility, or you take over their upkeep costs. I usually wean at about 5 months, depending. I can trailer them to UC Davis, Pioneer, or Loomis Basin if you'd like to have them bred at any of those places... they are near me. I can get breeding records together if you'd like. Like I mentioned above, both took first try this year. I use Oxytocin as a standard protocal on all mares. I had a breeding soundness exam done on Katie before I got her this Spring, and would be more than happy to share that with anyone interested. I got Trea without having that done. Kate's last foal was born in February 2009, Trea's last foal was in Spring 2007.

After much consideration, I've decided that Riva is not going to be bred anymore, so I'm removing her from this list. She is going to get to be a pasture potato for the rest of her life.

Chelsea's Christian is full sister to 2000 Nat'l Champion (s/m greens) "I Don't Know" and to "Chelsea's Rennaisaince," dam of Royalty, who was 2009 Devon Res. Best Young Pony; 3/4 sister to 2007 Nat'l Champion (overall) "Theodore O'Connor" and (maternal) half sister to Florida State Champion (sm gr pony hunter) Yet Another Karacter (and the original Karacter, WEF Tourn. of Champions, res. ch) and quite a few others. Like herself, her babies have tended to, rather oddly, grow all "of one piece," never rump high or awkward. Her eldest has competed in hunters, jumpers and eventing.
She is available for free lease because I have expanded my broodmare band x2 this year and Chrissy is too closely related to my own stallion. She is currently in foal to Land's End The Colonel's Fox for early April, but I would allow her to leave the farm w/ or w/o that foal at side under the right conditions. She is 13.0h, age 11, and while perfectly sound, has never been broke to ride (but could be--she is sweet, willing and generally enthusiastic about everything, especially if it involves getting attention!). I would also be willing to pasture board her here, temporarily or until her foal is weaned, as I do the AI myself and am only 1/2 mile from a vet clinic which can do the prep, palp, ultrasound, etc.

I am a considering a free broodmare lease for my AHS mare this year. Things in my world aren't conducive to me working her under saddle, so she is just sitting in my parents' front yard - which makes her happy, but she could be doing a lot more with her life! She is a 2001 model, very slowly greying, and she has had one foal by Regazzoni, a chestnut going grey filly, in 2007. She was easy to get in foal (one try), had a breeze of a pregnancy/foaling, and was a wonderful mom. We haven't tried to breed her since.
She is a large, older style mare. She stands just shy of 16.3 and is large bodied. She's got great, dinner platter feet, so she has been barefoot her entire life.
I would like to keep her relatively close, but would be willing to allow her to travel further if the home felt right.

No Discipline is a 15.3h TB mare, 1995, her pedigree is here:
http://www.pedigreequery.com/no+discipline
She had a lovely filly by Sinclair B last yr.
She could be bred to my stallion Cape Pogue here, for either a racing baby or a sporthorse prospect. She has had a few racing babies. I would allow her to go off farm at a suitable place, or just pay her way here at my place. She is an easy foaler, lives out yr round and likes it. She is a bit dominant in the herd.

I have a mare that I would like to find a free lease situation for, one season or possibly long term to the right home. She does not fit my breeding goals (dressage) but is a lovely mare for a hunter, hunter pony, or AQHA sport horse breeding program. She has top HUS breeding and lovely hunter type and movement. She is a 16 h, 1999 bay sired by Art I Sweet out of a TB mare. She is also approved for breeding in the ISR registry. She is a very pretty, correct mare with an intelligent, sensible disposition. She has been bred three times to three very different stallions, the resulting foals have all inherited her pretty head and great temperament. Her last foal (2008), an Irish Sport Horse, won the young stock championship at the IDHSNA 2009 annual show.
Some other facts - she is easy to work with, great with vet and farrier, a good mom, gets along with others in pasture. She is DNA tested homozygous black. She is pasture sound but not sound to ride, offered for broodmare lease only.
I love this mare and want to make sure she’ll be well cared for. Will need references.

I have a 7 year old grey Welsh mare that I would like to lease out for a year or two. She's by Elite Earl Grey and out of Adrienne's Jewel (dam of Wellen Red Rock and Wellen Rosetta). She's 12.1 and is an awesome mover. She has had one foal..
I also have an 11 year old TB mare that I'd be willing to lease. She is bay and 15.2 with a gorgeous babydoll head and nice conformation. She is a lovely mover. She has had 3 lovely foals. The first is a nice hunter, the 2nd was sold as an event prospect, and the most recent of the three (this year's foal) sold at a week old. All of them have her beautiful head.
http://s155.photobucket.com/albums/s300/fenwayfarm/Hannah/
I'd also consider leasing a couple of others since I don't have plans to breed myself this year:
Shenandoah Dulcimer: a coming 4 year old grey Welsh A mare. She is just over 12.1. She is by Farnley Magic Flute and out of Shenandoah Windchime (by Severn Snapdragon). She has a beautiful head with huge eyes and tiny ears. She is a huge mover. LEASED!!
The King Sisters: Sophie is a 13 year old TB mare. She is 15.3 and dark bay. She had a lovely TB filly this year, but late in the season, so we didn't breed her back. She is also the dam of Stoneledge Adelie who was Reserve Champion Pony Filly at Devon in 2007.

I have a 2005 JC registered Palomino mare for lease. She has not been ridden (she is way too small for me) but she could be. Super sweet and kind.
She is petite. I'd need to stick her to be sure, but I think she is under 14h. She is out of a mare from the same female family as Mr. Prospector.
Good choice for fancy pony breeding.
Edit to add- I sorta measured her today (no mean feat considering the monsoon we had this week) and I would put her at about 14h.
PM for more information.

GaLa's Stardust Legacy, aka "Diamond" 8 yrs, 14.1, Grey, has had 2 foals, due to foal 4/2010 (1st foal born 2008, 2nd foal 2009) this will be her 3rd foal.
Diamond is very easy to live with has no vices, sound, could be ridden while pregnant if you desire, clips, stands for farrier, ties, clips, practically loads herself on a trailer - EXCELLENT mother, easy to breed.
This mare is the 3rd generation of my breeding - very nice mover, absolutely correct conformation, in 2003 Diamond was Region 3, YEARLING Hunter Pony Champion, VPBA, VHSA & MHSA Yearling Pony Hunter Champion.
Diamond was easy to break, as in, they put the saddle on and rode off, and she never put a foot wrong, honest willing jumper with excellent form over fences.
I am starting to feel my age, and just don't want to deal with raising the babies any more - I would love a foal share arrangement, but am open to a free lease for expenses and you would have to carry full mortality insurance during term of lease. Prefer lease to be in VA so I can come visit.
Diamond is too nice a pony to just stand in the field looking gorgeous - email me for photos - have lots of her and her babies

I will not be breeding this year and have a 1996 Anglo-Trakehner mare, approved PSB, available with or without a breeding to any Hilltop stallion. Caliente is 16.1 h., dark bay, has had two foals, most recently a 2009 colt by Special Memories *Pg* who scored all 8's at his inspection and was the "Best Non-TB Foal" at the Warrenton Horse Show. She is pasture sound, but can no longer be ridden due to an injury. She is sweet, no vices, a very easy keeper.

Beautiful Anna is a '94 chestnut TB mare, standing 15.3hh, by Codex's Reflection and out of Rapid Beauty. She was previously owned by Swan Lake Stables where she was a favorite amongst the students for their A & B rated hunter & jumper shows.
Pedigree here: http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/beautiful+anna
She produced a few foals for them I believe, by their Trakehner stallion, but after he was gelded they no longer had a need for a broodmare & we obtained her.
Her '09 colt is very correct, personable, and scored a 75.25% overall at his inspection & earning Blue Preferred staus.
Anna has a lovely head, good overall conformation, and is a sweet tempered mare that does well turned out in our mixed mare & gelding pasture, where she is in the middle of the pecking order.
Due to my personal issues, etc., we are very open to placing her in a permanent home, as well as leasing options. References required in both situations.
Thank you for your consideration.

I may consider my mare. She is currently waiting her '10 foal ('09 foal was also by Wedderlie Mardi Gras and he was Premium Weser-ems). I get her back when weaned but she could be bred.
*Imported from Germany Palomino Sabino ZfDP registered large bodied mare
*15.3 hands (seems to produce big. Her pony foal looks like he will mature small horse)
* She is approved for breeding GOV, RPSI and Weser-ems.

Unfortunately the economy has finally caught up with my family and we are in need of a herd reduction. They are available for long term free leases but are also available permanently to the right home. Both mares are UTD on vaccines, dental, farrier, and wormer. Each mare will come with the rest of their worming pack for the year. Coggins/health certificates will be needed. Both are located in Lewes, Delaware.
Lisa's Gal is a 2004 model who came off the track last June after a slab fracture on 5/18. Chestnut, 4 socks/blaze. Lizzy is comfortable but will never be sound enough for riding. Has been in a herd of mares/geldings and 1 weanling and gets along with everyone.
http://www.pedigreequery.com/lisas+gal
Cassie Girl is a 1997 model who came off the track with a slab fracture as well. Bay, 2 socks/blaze. Cassie has been ridden w/t/c and has jumped a few small cross rails periodically. She can be strong under saddle. She has also been in a herd of mares/geldings/foals. Cassie had a filly in '04 by Consul who was First Premium at the inspection and is now owned by fellow COTH'er SideSaddleRider. She also had a colt in '08 by a TB stallion. She was not with me when she foaled her colt and I have not heard how he's doing.

PICTURE PERFECT. 1994 Medium pony mare, 13'1.5h- had a lovely colt by Llandefalle Better by Far, and an equally lovely filly by Mapleside Mr Magic. She had a very good career on the east coast, but has a stifle injury, so broodmare sound only.
She is liver chestnut with a star and a sock. She is a very easy breeder.

Liason is a 94 warmblood mare by Eastern Ruler, out of a TB mare, who was quite successful in the hunter ring. She's 16.2, bay with white. A 10 mover and jumper. She's produced 3 Premium babies, and is approved with Oldenburg/ISR and GOV. She's an easy breeder, and completely sound- she's still ridable. Just cutting back on breeding this year, and she's too nice to sit around! Pictures of her and her offspring at www.crossroadsfarm.com. Located in AZ.

R Mischievous Lady. 2001 TB 16.1 hh Bay mare. Very flashy, correct and balanced. By Roanoke who is sired by Pleasant Colony. She goes back to Native Dancer and War Admiral too, so she's very well bred without being line bred and would make a good out cross to the currently popular stud lines. Would throw good minded, correct babies. She is smart, willing and very athletic. Would throw great hunters, jumpers, dressage or event prospects as well as able to produce JC registered babies to race. I think she would excel as a sporthorse broodmare and she has the scope, athleticism and mind to throw versatile babies. She is available for a free breeding lease on or off farm. Attractive dark bay unraced thoroughbred mare. Very nice mover, correct and scopey jumper. Deep-bodied, most think she is WB not TB. Forward-thinking, great work ethic, easy to ride and train (started and trained by ammy-owner). Sound barefoot. Ripple was kicked in the stifle as a 2yo and sustained an avulsion fracture with ligament damage. This healed with a bone spur in the stifle and she does not remain sound in more than light work.
Foaled a Premium dark bay colt by Royal Appearance in 2009. Excellent mother. Foal is very outgoing and brave. Took on first try with frozen semen. No hormonal manipulation necessary.
Would prefer her to stay within 4-5 hours of Central NJ.

Pedigree: http://www.sporthorse-data.com/d?i=10556033 She is approximately 15.3 hh, large bodied, bay mare with minimal white. Beautiful hunter movement which she throws in her offspring.

I'm posting this for a friend. Serious inquiries can pm me and I will pass along your info to her owner.
16.1 bay mare by Concorde, born 1995. She competed in the 1.45 speeds over in Europe before being imported here. Has been WEF circuit champion in 1.30. Last job was as a low A/O, high A/A jumper. As far as the owner knows, she is a maiden mare. Would probably cross best with a stallion that has good rideability and temperament as she is on the hotter side. Pics available on request.
Her pedigree can be found here:

2003 Canadian Warmblood mare by Beach Boy out of TB mare.
Pedigree:http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/good+times4
This is a lovely warmblood mare who is an elastic mover with a very nice walk and canter. She does not move with a super flat knee. She is a very good jumper with good form and scope. Beach Boy is known as being a good broodmare sire and his mares seem hard to come by. She is well conformed and very pretty but is not too tall 15.2
Has a lovely 2010 filly by Apiro at side. Her filly is very pretty and correct with a ton of bone and appears so far to be a very nice mover. Was easy to breed and foaled with no problems. Is a good mother and an easy keeper.
Looking for someone to take her on a one year free breeding lease that covers her expenses for the duration. Within Alberta or potentially British Columbia. Will require vet references.
Please PM for pictures of mare and foal, more details.

I don't know if anyone is breeding this late, but my mare is available for lease. She will stay with me, but because I don't have the funds this year, she can be available.
She scored a 109 in 2008 with the Old NA and tied for high score mare of the country that year. The judge said he would die to have her in his broodmare band. (maybe I could call him!;))
I bred her to Roc USA in 2007 and the foal is my keeper. He is just over 2 right now and about 16 hands. He will easily be 16.3 and was her first foal. He will be my hunter. (he was first last year in the national Sally B Wheeler hunter yearling class at his first show)
She would be a perfect cross for a hunter or dressage horse.

Posting for a friend: Mona Lisa is an 18 year old, black, Rhinelander by Maquisard xx who is available for free breeding lease to approved situation.
She was high-score non-Hanoverian at the Hilton Farm inspection. Has had 2 foals, both by Antibes, the last one 6 years ago. The youngest, Accipio, is now my friend's riding horse and he is a very good mover. Mona was shown through 3rd level by a professional, 2nd level by her current amatuer owner and at training level recently by the owner's 12 year old daughter. Very easy to handle and good mom.
Mona has recently reinjured a suspensory and needs some time off. Does not need any special treatment and can be turned out. Owner is not in a position to breed her this year.

We recently have decided after having several foals with umbilical problems, not to rebreed our lovely WB mare. :(
Obviously we are too late to find a new mare to breed lease for this season, but we would be interested in finding one for 2011. We are looking for a well built, registered warmblood mare (not looking for TBs) that would compliment our stallion, Yeager GF. Good temperament and movement is a must. Would prefer no mares taller than 17hh (Yeager tends to add height), and no dilutes since we don't want a double dilute foal.
If you have a mare that you think could be a match, please let me know, thanks!

I am looking for a really nice quality warmblood brood mare for use in my Knabstrupper breeding program.
Any WB breed as long as she is registered with a European resgistry and has inspection scores.
I'd like a mare of dark color, bay black or chestnut, I can't use greys or pintos. I can take a mare with dilution colors.
Good home and full care offered.
Preference given to mares who some kind of performance history under saddle.

Libby is BWP approved (has both e-Labels) and has done the mare performance test. She is VERY laid back and uncomplicated, with a beautiful jump. She scored 17s on "general impression" and "rideability" in her MPT.
She is also in the MMP Holsteiner book, although I would only allow breeding for AHHA foals if a BWP foal was produced too since MY interest in this is to produce a BWP foal for her Elite Status requirements.
Libby is doing her performance requirements through eventing, although she could just as easily be a hunter, and would be a legitimate hunter derby candidate if that was my thing. She is qualified for and will be competing in the Young Event Horse championships this October.

[B]NURSE MARE NEEDS A GOOD HOME
i I have a recipient mare who is wonderful with all of the foals. She'd make a great nurse mare for the weanling pasture. This mare is probably Belgian/QH and is too sweet to send back to an uncertain fate at the ET facility. 8 years old. Located in Colorado.

Looking for a nice mare to lease to breed to the international showjumping stallion of my choosing. I would actually prefer something done on-farm, so it almost doesn't matter what the location of the mare is. The closer to the Portland, OR metro area the better, but I would consider all the way across the country.
Wanting a nice sporty mare. Would prefer Holst/Old/Selle but definitely open to considering other options such as nice TB. Let me know what you may be willing to offer, and we can talk! Appreciate your time.

I have two mares that I would like to re-home as potential broodmares.
1) Panda - 2003 15.3 hand, Bay Tobiano mare by Palladio (Dutch). Very pretty, solid show miles, great personality. Poor shoeing as a baby has left her unsound for riding, but she's sure to produce some fancy babies.
2) Caddy - 12 year old, 15.1 hand, liver chestnut, registered QH mare. Deep digital injury has left her unsound to ride, but she is a lovely quiet mare that would be a good broodmare. I don't have access to the AQHA website to find her breeding, but I have her registration number if you are interested.
I prefer off farm leases, or transfer of ownerships.

I have a lovely 7 year old grey Welsh mare that I would like to lease out for a year or two. She's by Elite Earl Grey and out of Adrienne's Jewel (dam of Wellen Red Rock and Wellen Rosetta). She's 12.1 and is an awesome, awesome mover. I am not breeding next year and feel that she should be doing something for someone.

I have a lovely 14 year old Roemer - Taxateur mare that I'm looking to lease out for one breeding season. She's 16.2, liver chestnut with a ton of white (sabino), has a wide blaze, two stockings and two socks. Excellant mom and easy to settle. Has produced a lovely Buggatti filly who sold at one month of age. Approved AHS with a score of 7.16, was the highest scoring mare at her inspection. If interested PM me!

Chelsea Small Talk - 16yo, 16.1H, liver chestnut mare. No papers, but has a produce record better than most stallions. Has produced FIVE winners at Upperville, a top finisher at the IHF, as well as Appsolut (Lg Jr Hunter/Green Working Hunter/Big Eq Horse). Currently open due to no fault of her own. Would like to free lease for 1-2 years. Up-to-date on everything. Easy keeper. Enclosed are pictures of some of her offspring.

WANTED – WB mare for the 2011 breeding season (longer term considered)
I am looking to free lease a registered/papered WB mare to add to my young, small breeding program. I am looking for a sporthorse mare with strong dressage lines who will compliment my program and the lines I currently have. The mares I have are currently in training or had a late foal, and I would prefer not to breed them this coming year.
I prefer the mare not be maiden, but would consider a maiden mare if she has proven herself through performance and/or has outstanding lines. Ideal mare has had at least one foal that has scored well at an inspection, takes and foals out easily, is 16+ hands, is a great mover, and has a great temperament!
Although I prefer a WB, I would consider an outstanding TB mare (WB build) who is already approved with a WB registry that has proven herself.
Age or riding soundness is not a factor, as long as the mare has many quality, happy years left – but the mare must be pasture/breeding sound.
I would consider a longer lease or a forever home for the right mare.
I am located in Northern Virginia – I will provide transportation for the mare, but prefer something East of the Mississippi (or there abouts).
If requested, I will insure the mare up to an agreed upon amount.
References available upon request.
Please PM me.

Very pretty KWPN Registered Dutch/TB mare by Fairplay available for broodmare lease in NJ. 15 yrs, 16.1H, Chestnut with white. Up to date on all shots, worming, dentist & farrier. Currently barefoot with great feet. Very correct conformation & excellent movement. Ranked in the top ten at her 2 yr old NA/WPN inspection & competed on the line at DAD. Also competed up to 3rd level dressage, novice eventing, 3'6" jumpers. Has been turned out for the past couple years and currently not in work. Easy to handle, good ground manners, cross ties, trailers, etc. Never been bred, but vet checked and ready to breed this weekend.

Colleen is 1996 model, reg with the ApHCC and the ApSHA. Super pretty, and stands just under 15.2, though is fortunate to have a lot of height in her background. Has done everything from fox-hunting, to lower level dressage, to swimming bareback on the beach. Sensitive type, very smart.
Not riding sound due to injury, and I'm trying somewhat desperately to find her a free-lease breeding home for 2011. Does not have to stay at my place, am willing to help ship.

She would cross absolutely fantastically with a modern warmblood or a nice Thoroughbred- her 2009 filly is by a Fappiano son and is very much a hunter-type. She showed this summer on the line and did very very well. Great brain, very smart and sensible, quick thinker. Colleen's only foal to date, and she is somewhat fanatical about babies- excellent mother, to say the least.

Free Broodmare lease!!!
Dressy Affair ("Lilly") is an Oldenburg NA MMB (with an impressive score of 101) approved TB mare. She has produced one lovely filly by Edelweiss de Bonce. The filly should mature to 17 hands, is very typy and very sweet.
Lilly is a 16.1 hand mare, feminine with substance, very sweet, and an in your pocket personality. She was retired from her show career due to a pasture injury. She is 100% pasture sound! Before being retired, Lilly was schooling second level dressage and had been started over fences and schooled on small cross country courses. She was going great as a dressage horse, but she loved to jump, and boy did she have great scope and bascule. Before her injury, she was going to make a great dressage / eventing horse!
Lilly is a great mommy, and loves her new job. Because I am currently focusing on developing some young ones, I will not be breeding Lilly this coming breeding season, therefore, I am offering her for a free breeding lease. She is open and will be weaning her current filly shortly (January).
She does fine on field board with good forage and grain, or great in a stall. She is currently barefoot, and only requires normal trims.
I require a breeding lease contract (to ensure she is properly cared for) and ask for a vet reference.
Please PM me for more info.
Thanks,

Free Broodmare lease for 2011. Oxsana is a 15.3 1/2(I expect a 16.1 finish) 2008 ISR/OLD(Registered ISR) Mare, she premium at her inspection. Her bloodlines lend themselves to the jumpers, eventers or dressage. Her dam fox hunted, competed successfully as a show hunter and is now doing the eq's and jumpers with a jr in NY. More info on her sire can be found at: http://www.littlebitfarminc.com/id23.html.
Her bloodlines can be found: www.allbreedpedigree.com/oxsana
She has free jumped to 4ft, incredibly sweet, smart, not mareish, sensitive but not stupid and has great feet.
She has primarily lived out in a herd but can live in fine as well. I would like her to have a foal prior to starting in regular work, but dont' have the space or time to breed more myself.
Open to an on or offsite lease, onsite would require board payments, offsite would need to be within 4 hrs of central VA. References, Insurance and lease agreement will be required. PM me with questions.

05'. Bay 15.2 Maiden. Very fancy just in a small package. Was top scoring 2 year old hunter for the 07' kwpn Keuring tour. Has been showing pre greens with good results. Would make excellent hunter or hunter pony foals.
Excellent care is a priority. Refrences, Insurance and lease contract will be required. Both mares are cherished members of the family. Intent was to breed both but another horses astronomical vet bills will prevent that from happening this year and we'd like to see both mares producing and making another breeder happy Would prefer bother mares to go to same program. 1993 Black Oldenburg Broodmare 16.2 hh. Main Mare Book, 103pts. Earned Star Award for passing Oldenburg/ISR Mare Performance Test. Former performance mare reaching 3rd level dressage before a pasture injury began her career as a broodmare. She has a wonderful temperment, rideability and beautiful movement that she passes along to her offspring. Excellent bloodlines, Pasture sound, healthy and an easy breeder. Throws size, so stallions must be carefully considered. Available to a forever home. Great references a must and facility visit will be made. This is truly a grand mare that enjoys being a mother.

Located north of Seattle, WA. Pretty mare is available as an ET donor should someone be interested in producing a guaranteed pinto foal. I would rather she did not carry her own foal. 11 y.o., proven producer, 15 hands, big pretty eye, substantial build, long neck, good feet, easy keeper and temperament, uncomplicated riding horse, forward thinking, dressage background but not a lot of mileage. I also have a mare that would be great as a surrogate or to have her own foal, has had one successful pregnancy, great mother, easy keeper and temperament, registered APHA, big bodied, not reliably sound for consistant hard riding. Both have been bred and raised by professional horsemen who are educated and conscientious. I am supporting 3 elders [30, 26, 21] at this point and not riding at all currently so feel terribly guilty about these girls not getting any attention. PM me and I can email you some photos, as apparently I cannot post photos here...

10YO bay sabino registered TB mare Savanna Manna. VERY well bred - by California champion Individual Style out of a Pass the Glass mare.
15.3hh. Blaze face and four socks. Photos here (she is the mare in the first 3.)

Has had four foals, gotten in foal on the first cycle every time. Throws some pretty neat markings if not bred to a plain bay. :D
Located in western Washington (the state.) Local/partial delivery available. Can also meet your shipper, or board her here.
Just turning 6 year old registered AQHA Appendix mare for free broodmare lease. 16.1 hands, bay, gorgeous gaits and form over fences (hunter type...also moves nice/big enough for dressage and eventing). Sire is Skys Blue Boy (on leading AQHA sires lists) out of TB mare.
Free lease out of state is okay with references provided of leassee, signed lease agreement, and leassee must carry proper insurance on horse during lease.
She's probably good to breed whenever...she has been going into heat regularly throughout the winter (she's in Wellington, FL)...is actually in right now, lol!
She is sound to ride...reason for broodmare lease is she is very "marish" and extremely sensitive to lower leg pressure riding. She was started under saddle late and is having a hard time adjusting/learning under saddle and many have suggested it's a "girl" issue and to breed her. I would love to breed her myself and give her a year or two off to be a momma (as she is just gorgeous and will make spectacular babies for AQHA, hunter, dressage, or eventing) but I don't have the finances to do it. So, if anyone wants to breed a really nice mare with great bloodlines, and not have to pay to purchase...here she is!
She is special to me, and I will check references where she goes (personal, and professional...ex. vet and farrier, etc). :)

2001 Bay TB mare. Two off socks, star and snip. Registered JC as R Mischievous Lady. Excellent breeding, out of Roanoke and goes back to Double Jay who was a fabulous jumper sire and some other greats in TB history. Has competed over 4' in hunters and jumpers as well as dabbled in dressage and eventing. Great movement, very feminine and correct in her build and would cross well with many different types. Want to get her bred and don't think I will be able to make it happen this year. Free broodmare lease on or off farm with contract. Pictures and videos available.

Needs to have a proven HUNTER record or offspring that are hunters. Also prefer 16H min. Open to any breed that is a hunter type breed. (QH, TB, WB, Paint, etc.) No Arabians please.

Lovely dapple-grey 7 y.o. TB broodmare by Wekiva Springs available for free lease. She has had one foal since leaving the track. Easy to breed; uncomplicated foaling, easy keeper, easy to handle, likes to be turned out, submissive with other adult mares; great baby-sitter with weanlings and yearlings. Big bodied, good mover. I took her to be a broodmare to produce eventers, but have not had the opportunity to breed her. Calm and quiet on the ground. Sound, but nervous under saddle. Would be a long-term project if you wanted to make her a riding horse.
Please contact me directly at vcarson@flyingchesterfieldfarm.com if you are interested in free leasing her for the 2011 breeding season.

HI! I have a 16.3h TB mare ANYTIME BABY, by Majesty's Time out of ISR/ONA approved mare Unique Blend by Aprad (FR). She is OPEN NOW. She has had 2 foals, a TB gelding that matured 17h Is showing in the Hunters in FL & a 2009 AQHA filly that is succcessfully showing in hand. She is a great mom, quiet & easy to breed & handle. She has no soundness issues, reproductively or structurally. Excellent conformation & movement. No show record as she was never broke to ride. Her dam's sire APHRAD is by LYPHARD (FR) who, with his son, GOOFALIK, was HANOVERIAN APPROVED & BOTH STOOD AT THE MAIN GERMAN STATE STUD AT CELLE. Both this mare's maternal 1/2 sisters showed as hunters after racing. This mare is truly a sport horse bred TB, which is why I got her & don't want to sell her.( I breed AQHA & Appaloosa HUNTERS) But, I can't breed any more foals until I sell some & she is the type of mare who should be producing hunters & sport horses.

Gorgeous, registered, 8yo, dark bay GOV mare available for 2011 breeding lease. She is by Argosy out of a GOV main mare book approved mare (Rollickings Bestxx).
Kadee is solid but reasonably sized, standing at approximately 16.2 hands and 1300 pounds. She has beautiful conformation as well as three wonderful gaits. Very talented under saddle as well as a powerful bold jump. Maiden mare.
I was going to breed her in 2011, but unforeseen family circumstances don't permit me to do so. Come and see this beautiful mare. She would be a wonderful addition to any farm.
I was planning on getting her approved (she would have no issues getting in the MMB) with foal at side in 2012 and am happy to pay for that if you decide she would fit into your breeding program.

I got her off the track from her PA breeder/owner/trainer to event on and breed event babies. But I'm finishing school and don't have time to breed her or compete her myself this year. Would love to have someone breed her this spring and compete her through fall then lay her up and foal her out. She's a fantastic mare with wonderful bloodlines. I would also happily help pay for her approval with foal at side in 2012 in any registry if that was something you needed/wanted. Hopefully someone can use her while I can't this year!

Shenandoah Fantasia: 3 year old Section B by Farnley Triton and out of Shenandoah Silk Fan (Alra Amber Classic) 13.1 hands, bay with a stripe and a hind sock. Outstanding mover. Very correct.

1999, 16h, Juventus mare out of a TB, Old NA approved MMB star mare x Hail the Pirates (star received because 4/4 premium foals – 3 of which were site champions). Pedigree: http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/sassafras+t
This mare is registered as an Old NA premium foal (was site champion) and is approved as Premium mare in 2 registries and was a site champion in both of them, as well -- OLD NA, as well as Ster predicate in KWPN-NA. Site championship there was in free-jumping and was 6th(t) in the 2006 Top Ten for free-jumping.
In 2002, she was #1 Oldenburg USDF DSHB HOY, as well as #3 USDF DSHB HOY for All Breeds. Awarded multiple Filly and Young Horse Championships, as well as a Reserve Grand Championship. This mare’s full sister won the Born USA at KHP in 2007, as well.
In 2008, she had a very athletic jumper-bred filly that was conceived first cycle on frozen. This past Dec, 2010, she had a full reproductive soundness exam and was reported with an excellent score (90% I; 10% IIA). Regular cycles – cycling now. Reproductive conformation good – no caslicks required.
This mare can go to an off-farm lease within 200 miles of Louisville, KY. Free lease, and since she is also riding sound, med/surg/mortality insurance coverage required ($700 annually). References also required.

This is an exquisite, 13.1h mare (chestnut with a ton of chrome) who would be no embarrassment showing in hand or u/s, but since she is unbroke, I'm offering her as a broodmare. Her 3/4 brother was 2nd under saddle and 5th in the model at the Pony Finals last year. Her dam currently has two sons eventing under a professional, moving up the levels and gaining notoriety like their full brother Teddy. My own stallion is a third full brother, not currently competing because I can't afford to breed and show at the same time.
The mare, Fox Ridge Cadence, age 5, is about to produce her first foal, but I'm considering not breeding her back because I might have FINALLY found--and found a way to get home inexpensively--the mare I've been searching far and wide for to breed to my guy.
This video and the photos were taken when Cady was two. The photos were taken right after a brief rain (so, no, she's not some weird brindle color!). She is now quite, quite voluptuous (can take fresh video any time--she's shed out and sleek as can be):

My Royal Appearance/ Grannus mare has just become available again. She is a 2001, and is GOV registered, MMB approved.
REALLY nice, older style mare. Three good gaits, great jump. About 17 hands, dark bay. Has had two foals, caught first try both times, currently open. "Bailey" really a nice mare, and I'm on the fence about selling her, but would definitely be open to leasing her. Onsite lease available at reasonable price (just upkeep), or she could go to an approved facility. I bred her to Rubino Bellissimo, and got a lovely colt in 2009 who sold in utero. And in 2010 she had a really athletic Landfriese II filly. No health problems. Sound for light riding, but I've only put about 30 rides on her in her life. She is usually sound with shoes, and is fun to ride, but just won't hold up to a training schedule (she was injured the night she was weaned).

I am looking for a forever home for a truly special broodmare. She is 17+ hands, mahogany bay with a blaze and two hind socks. She is the old style German Hanoverian, but she gave me two very refined fillies when crossed with a more refined stallion. Her first colt (before I owned her) was by Weltbekannt and is an amateur's dressage horse. She is by Picaro (Picard/Pik Koenig) out of an SPS mare. She was imported as a filly. This mare has a great temperment which she passes onto her foals and is easy, easy, easy. She is intelligent, kind, an easy keeper and has great (barefoot) feet. She gets in foal on the first try, foals easily and is a wonderful mother. She is currently open and ready to breed.

Shania Aglow 2002 Bay Tobiano 16 h, Sire: Spectrum; Dam: Afterglow (Art Deco x TB) http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/shania+aglow
Minor LF feltock injury cut this mare's performance career short. She is currently sound, but it is not know if she will be able to continue in heavy work, thus I would like to find a breeding home for her.
Shown very successfully as a hunter (AA shows in baby greens, pre adults) as a 4 and 5 year old, then continued in the dressage ring and competed first and second, while schooling 3rd. Ability to be a FEI horse.
She is a maiden mare. Clean breeding soundness exam performed in November. She is not homozygous for the tobiano gene. Great disposition, easy to handle and work around, easy keeper, great in pasture or stall.
Located in Raleigh North Carolina. Approved home with veterinary references only.

Last year laid up my fantastic 14KTGOLD all round mare due to back injury and decided to put her in foal late after fantastic inspection results. Her 6 month old, Dacaprio colt already jumps my 4' stall walls from a standstill. Now we are moving this year due to my husband's job relocation so I just posted her as breeding lease in classifieds but will consider a free lease to an approved home. She herself is registered with OLD NA but her grand sire is non other than Furioso II. Interested?

Sorry too green and forum challenged to know what a PM is so trying this: A friend recommended posting my WB broodmare in COH but until just now I only found the classifieds so just posted an add for my 14KT GOLD in the lease section. See also the post I just put in this forum. My mare is 15.1 but carries herself like a 16.1 that both dressage judges and others alike have not believed me and wanted to get out the tape measure. I first purchased her in 08 with the intent of her being a foundation mare , purchased purely because of her bloodlines. She had not been ridden for 3 years but I got on her non the less and about died when I felt her walk. Within a month of bringing her home we were already competing low level intro and CT and winning, I too had been out of the ring and saddle for 10 years. I had never had the pleasure of being top of the list after dressage scores before or having dressage comments such as "lovely mare" in the box. Her talented career was cut short after an old injury that I had failed to find out, came back to haunt us - every day I look at her I long to get back on. Within the short time I had her under saddle I had her out for a summer ride with the hunt and some baby green cross country for her first time, all very willingly. She was a premium foal at her own inspection. I took her to a late OLD NA inspection where she was the only maiden but took highpoint out of 12 mares despite her injuries causing less than the top quality movement she is capable of. She missed Elite mare book by only 2 points despite this I received a breeding discount to Elite imported Hanovarian, Dacaprio. I am a complete beginner at breeding but I could easily tell when she was in heat , called the vet he confirmed and she was bread the next day, took first time, saved me huge vet bills and angst. She foaled all on her own without problems- could easily have been in the field. Happily let me handle her foal immediately. Foal is a perfect blend of Dam and Sire. Her Arab side gives her good strong bone, feet and stamina for a true sport horse. I am petite so I bred to a 16 hh stallion but based on where the colt's hocks and knees are I see he will make that at least ,so her size does not hinder breeding height. The only reason that I am not selling her outright is because although she is 13 this year I hope and pray we will stop moving around one of these days and I can breed at least one more time from her- hoping for a filly next time. She has such presence and her coat gleams dapple gold with no effort ,she just takes your breath away with little polish effort. Her presence has thrown on to the foal, he has her white blaze and 4 white knee socks. Both dam and sire were chestnut but the colt may actually go dark liver.

9 year old, 16H, big bodied, dark bay unraced TB mare available for free lease. Mare comes from good sporthorse-type TB bloodlines. She has an excellent mind and is an easy, amateur-friendly ride. Got in foal as a maiden with frozen. Easy foaling, excellent mother. She's an easy keeper as well and sound barefoot.
Please PM for further information. Thank you.

Available for free lease, Whizzo is a 17.3h 11yr old Hanoverian mare. Successful Dressage horse to third level prior to injury in late 2007. Produced a lovely, correct 2009 filly. Has been back in consistent work since then but doubtful that she will stay sound to progress through the upper levels of dressage. By White Magic who is by Weltmyer out of Lyra by Lemon (TB).
Pedigree available here: http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/whizzo
I will track down photos of the mare and take photos of the filly next week when the weather clears.
Please contact me for more information.

TB mare, Love Springs by Majestic Price out of Hello Spring by Satan's Orphan (by Crimson Satan). A beauty queen, 16.2 hh solid, dark bay, dressage bodied mare with incredibly kind temperament which she passes on to her offspring. I would prefer to keep her here at my home farm but would be willing to let someone use her for a breeding, either as an embryo transfer recipient or to breed her own lovely self. Just to give her something to do. Alternatively, I'd consider relactating her for a nurse mare if someone had an orphaned foal as she is an amazing mama. I have enough young horses to work with and don't think I should be creating more for myself right now. As I've never been a very good salesperson, I don't think I should breed to sell either ("Oh, I'll sell him next year. Ok, maybe next year. Well, how about next year?").
I have two of her sons who are both lovely, excellent minded, and athletic. One, a full TB, is coming 6, and will be starting Jumpers this spring, and the other, coming 4, is looking like more of a dressage horse (BIG, powerful, and very uphill build, his sire was a Shire cross).
PM me if you have any interest. Photos on request, also I can send you vids of one of the sons.
Thanks! Kate

My trainer is looking to add a good quality warmblood mare to her breeding program. Free lease to breed or a forever home possible. Prefer MMB Hanoverian, but OLD, Dutch or HOL acceptable.
She'd prefer a mare that is not maiden. 16.2-17.1 hands. Old style, heavier build is OK. MUST have excellent temperament and be breeding sound. It does not matter if mare is not riding sound.

Trudy (AKA Maybelline or Glenmore Trudy) is a beautiful welsh cross pony mare available for breeding this year. She is grey and 14 hands. She is living at Sugarbrook Farm in Floral City Florida and has had 3 gorgeous babies so far. I am not ready to breed her again this year, so she is available. She is available for on farm lease only. She makes big babies, so she can only be bread to small ponies. She will produce a large pony for you. She has impeccable breeding lines (Glenmure Liberty Bell X Glenmore Lucy Lockets) and won the model at Pony finals in 1999 and was 2nd in the country in the large green ponies. She is a beautiful mover and jumper and produces gorgeous babies. I was hoping to charge $3000 to lease her for the year but might be willing to let you breed her for free. You will also have to pay her board ($375/mo.) and breeding costs. If you are interested or know someone who is, please let me know. Email me for more info and photos. stacie654@yahoo.com

Have decided to lease out (or place in a perfect forever home) one of our mares, as we need to reseed pastures and won't breed for at least another year, probably two.
The mare is an AWR papered mare by Regulus-Merano-Galoubet. She's a compact mare with a lovely topline, three excellent gaits and super jumping talent. Medium size (16 1/2h, gray), 11 years old. Had two super nice foals by two different stallions, is an easy breeder/foaler, great mom. Incredibly easy keeper. Will match any stallion.

She is 100% sound and can be shown if desired. Photos with her Coromino colt at http://web.mac.com/ratchfords/iWeb/Fallbrook%20Farm/Cooper%20.html She is a very elastic mover with three very good gaits. I would like to keep her somewhere in the mid-atlantic area if possible. Oldenburg NA registry

My mare's new home has suffered an unexpected change of situation. She is again available for the season. Please email me for pics and further info. She is in the Chicago area. Thanks all! :)

I know it's late in the season, but my situation has changed drastically and I am unable to afford to breed this year. I'd much rather find a breed lease situation than sell as I'd love a foal out of her still, but alas...
1994 KWPN registered mare "Myriah Mist," 16.1h dark brown & homozygous black. By a Dutch son of Alme' out of a neat TB mare who was on The Oaks broodie string for years. This TB mare has a number of offspring by Oaks stallions (Challenger, Lennox and Champagne) who are at 1.20m+ with ammies, including one by Challenger who did his first Grand Prix this year. Same TB family as Laudanum, Kris S and the stallion Mansingh who sired the Holst approved stallion Langata Express.
She is 100% sound and healthy, could easily go back into full training although she is only in light work right now. No vices, loves trails, loads like the old pro she is. Shown to 3'6 hunters and was schooled to 4' when in full training a year ago. Super well trained, very sensitive and forward, no bolt, fabulous downward transition to compliment. Just needs plain front shoes if in work. Zero maintenance, lives outside.
Has had two sons by Just the Best who I think are both starting as hunters with ultimate goal being the jumper ring.
Located just north of Los Angeles. Could do an on or off farm lease within reasonable driving distance. 1 or 2 season lease is fine. Hack and show her while she's preggo! :)

Looking to place two Thoroughbred mares in a good home, prefer they go together.
The owner is currently boarding the mares on my farm and is looking for them to go to a new home.
The owner owes me backboard and I really do NOT want to default them and be forced to take the horses to auction.
So until the owner pays me in full, these girls cannot be removed from my property. I would like to find someone seriously interested in these two girls, whether for riding or breeding... that will continue to board them here until the current owners are paid in full. The current owners will release their Jockey Club papers to the new owner.
The owner is not interested in having someone pay off their debt... only looking to place the girls free (very much prefer together) to a good home.
Both mares are riding and/or breeding capable.
1. Radha http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/radha5 2001 chestnut sabino/rabianco 16 hand mare. Never bred. Is a ex-racehorse and does have large ankles from running on the track, but is sound on them... but the drawback is she has really poor feet currently (I refuse to pay anymore out of pocket on the owner's horses without more compensation). I am told she was headstrong ridden off the track and never got out of racehorse mode, so would need a experienced rider to retrain to ride.
2. Bel Chateau http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/bel+chateau 2000 bay 15-15.2 hand (I have not measured her) mare. Never bred. Is a ex-racehorse, but has no bumps or enlarged joints. Is sound with excellent feet. I am told she was very hard to handle on the track, but a dollbaby to be ridden by the owner's 13 yo girl once retired from running. She probably do okay with a intermediate rider.
Neither mare has been ridden in nearly 2 years.
Minus the poor feet on Radha... both mares could cross very well on pony and/or warmblood stallions. I have a vet that comes on farm to do AI mare services, if the new owner is interested in breeding either of them.

Hello All! Please cross-post or forward to friends. We are looking to place 2 best friends in forever home or free lease!
Belen: 1992 model old-style Trakehner Mare by Libikus (Kaspareit) and Pregelstrand. She stands 16.1 and is well built. EXCELLENT mom! Even took on an orphan a couple years ago and nursed both! She is also light-riding sound. Great disposition.
We are looking to place her with her best-friend Just Cool (TB). Also 16.1 and in her early 20's. She is off the track, retired eventer, retired broodmare (hasn't caught in several years).
Both mares are relatively easy keepers, go barefoot, have good manners etc!
Need them placed in suitable lease or permanent home by late fall. If you are someone you know might be interested please contact me!

Vanity Fair is a refined 16yo, 15.3h bay registered TB mare. She competed through Intermediate, lovely correct mover, fabulous jumper. Her first foal, Vanity's Revenge, is 7yo and has so far competed through Preliminary, several 4* trainers consider her a genuine Advanced prospect. These two mares have gotten me my best dressage scores, a 28 and a 25! Her second foal (by Formula One) just had her first show outing and won the Future Event Horse yearling class at the Ark HT, and was Reserve Champion of all the FEH entries. The 7yo is 15.2 1/2, but the second foal is quite tall, vet figures she'll finish around 16.2h, so size does not seem to be a problem.
I had intended to breed Vanna again for myself this year, but I am out of funds..... she caught on the first try with frozen this year, but reabsorbed (in hindsight, probably should have put her on regumate). She is clean, no fluid etc etc. in GREAT shape. I hate to leave such a great producer open at her age, so I thought I'd offer her for a broodmare lease and hopefully I will have more money next year!

Beautiful 11yo dark bay Jockey Club registered TB broodmare for free lease or free to good home. 15.2hh, has had five foals, the latest a 2010 TB colt, the others Wap Appaloosa crosses that have done very well on the line at the hunter shows as youngsters and gone on to become nice show horses. Raced only six times, sound, easy keeper, nice hunter movement, very easy to breed (heat is obvious, catches first time, foals easily and is a great mother). All vaccinations, deworming and Coggins up to date and teeth recently floated. 2010 yearling on site, photos available of other offspring. Registered name is Andy's Candi, out of Courtney Road and by Candi's Gold. Sadly needs new home only as has not worked out as a riding prospect and I have no space for her to be solely a broodmare, which is what she excels at. Possibility for mare to be bred back to TB stallion of 2009 breeding at no charge, but getting late in the year! Mare located in SE PA.

Available for free on farm breeding lease as I have several in foal already for 2011. ((Also- I love this mares foals so much that I don't ever want to sell any of them- lol which is a problem if that is the business I am in :-) ))
Censation WH (Cabalito/ToyParade xx)
Main studbook Oldenburg Verband mare, has produced 5 spectacular foals- both ponies and horses. FREE on farm breeding lease- just need her breeding expenses and board covered! A rare opportunity to lease a mare of this caliber!! Contact me ASAP- I am happy to help with stallion selection.
I cannot stress enough the quality this mare produces. They are brave, super smart, easy, LOVE people, sensitive enough not to be dead heads, beautiful movers and jumpers, will win on the line and under saddle.
I have lots of pictures and video of her offspring- she has been bred to 4 different stallions and they are ALL good ones.
She foaled a week ago and is ready to go. Always gets in foal easily, foals easily, and superior mother. If you are going to breed this year-use a PROVEN mare like this one :-)
She must stay on farm here. Currently has a foal at foot by Edelweiss De Bonce (one week old) I would just like her breeding expenses and board covered. I have gotten all my other mares in foal on first cycle breedings this year with an excellent repro vet for under $250 total so vet expenses are not crazy is this neck of the woods.

I have a super pretty, very correct, reg. ApHCC mare for breeding lease (or sale). 100% coat-pattern producer to date.
Colleen is a 14 year old leopard Appaloosa mare, registered with the ApHCC. Has been bred twice, and has produced two fantastic sport horse fillies. Very good mother. UTD on dental, farrier, worming, and vaccinations. Easy for vet/farrier, and kid-friendly. Full mane and tail. Succeeded in a variety of disciplines before retiring in 2009 because of an injury during turn-out.
Bloodlines include Prince Plaudit, Prince's Twist, King Plaudit and Secretariat.
2009 model was sired by a Thoroughbred (Fappiano) and is ApHCC and ApHC registered. She has points in Hunter In Hand, Halter, and In-Hand Trail from her yearling season. Born bay with white spots and a large star, and as a 2 y/o has roaned out in a dappled pattern with larger darker spots coming in. Currently stands 15.3 and is expected to finish 16.0-16.1. Very correct young mare, with a great brain and a personable friendly demeanor. Very easy to work with and will be showing again later this season. Definite hunter/jumper or eventing prospect once under saddle.

Reality Happens "Ali" - 2000 16.3hh Solid Bay Thoroughbred.
Competed through Preliminary before a fracture ended her performance career. Has a very nice jump! Uphill mover. She has many half siblings that are eventing very successfully including a half brother, Kipling, who competed through 3*.
She was bred to Landkoenig for a 2010 foal. Produced a very fancy bay filly with white. Was put in the OldNA/ISR Main Mare Book last year. Excellent mom. Easy delivery. Good milker. Easy to breed too (after her first few palpations was fine to do w/o sedation or twitch). Very versatile breeding wise.
On farm lease (@ reduced board rate) or off farm. Flexible on the terms. Multiple years possible and or free to excellent home. She's a fantastic mare and we love having her here but due to the circumstances with one of our homebreds sustaining a performance career ending injury we're looking to trim the mare herd for a year or two.

Odette is a beautiful 1999 Holsteiner mare by Riverman, out of a Runaway/Cantares dam. Link to full pedigree here: http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/odette81 Odette is also in the Oldenburg, NA, Main Mare Book. She has had two foals with a previous owner, one by Contucci in 2006 (reserve champion foal of inspection) and one by Rousseau in 2008. No known issues conceiving or foaling. She has been lightly shown in lower level dressage. Odette is gentle with other horses (both mares and geldings) in a turnout setting and is a very easy keeper.
Exceptional care, references and breeding lease contract required. Available for an off the farm lease, within 180 miles of Cincinnati, Ohio, only. I am flexible on the term of the lease—could be 1 breeding season or longer, depending on your preference.

Imported registered KWPN mare available for a free off farm breeding lease for either this year or 2012. Pedigree: http://www.horsetelex.nl/pedigree.php?horseid=431782
Due to unforeseen family obligations we decided not to breed her this year She is the dam of "Independence" by Richard (frozen semen breeding). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w4yupd_7Pmg&feature=youtu.be
She herself had a successful show career in the Small Hunter division until a career ending injury. We do have a breeding contract with her to the stallion Cunningham or a breeding to Richard that can be used with the lease for a reduced stud fee. Or she can be bred to another approved stallion.
She is approved for breeding with the BWP (Belgian Warmblood)

We talked last year, and I really would be interested, but on an onfarm lease, since I am so far away. Let's stay in touch for 2012, I have leased a mare onsite in southern USA already for 2011, but your mare really interests me, as you know, :-)

Very Sweet BWP Select Mare for free breeding lease in the South East. Very nice mover, easy keeper. Scored 77 points in all phases of her performance test (conformation/movement in-hand, Under Saddle, and Free Jumping.) Sired by Nicholas, who competed through Level 7 Jumpers, 2nd Level dressage, and Novice Eventing. Her Dam was a successful Eventer through Prelim.
Available for breeding lease only. She somehow sustained an injury to her back, and is not for riding.

Dulce Amante 2001 TB mare http://www.pedigreequery.com/dulce+amante
Bay mare with a star and a snip. Nice mover, very nice temperment. She is easy to breed and a great mother.
She had a filly by Mannhattan in 2010 who was premium at her inspection and is being retained as a future broodmare.
Her 2011 colt by Edelweiss de Bonce is a gorgeous guy with very nice movement and substance.
This mare is smaller in height (15.3 on her tippy toes) but produces height. Her 2010 filly string tests at a solid 16.2 and has a lot of bone. This mare isn't the typical TB and produces large framed foals.
Email for pics and terms.

Half sister to Icarus. Registered TB mare. Approved RPSI. Has return breeding rights to very popular Han. stallion, not sure if the breeding is transferable or not. This mare really is the total package. We are not breeding this year or in the near future and she really deserves to be a mommy. 16 hands, grey. I have a 15.2 TB mare who is going to the RPSI inspection in two weeks with baby at side. I have no plans to breed her next year or the year after as my life will be consumed with college and the current foal. She is papered, hopefully will get approved, and is a great mom. She is also sound, but has not been ridden in a few years. Willing to consider a free lease to a breeding or riding home. Foal will be weaned late September and Molly will be looking for a loving home (long or short term is fine).

Hey guys,
Libbys been a great pony broodmare for me shes thrown me large ponies every time crossed with welsh of several different heights.
Shes handled daily, broke to ride, has been ridden once in the 5 years ive had her. Shes a fancy mover, huge step if someone wants to do performance with her I'm fine with that, shes easy to deal with.
Kind, Brave, Sensible, Easy keeper ( needs grain w/ a foal at foot but other wise does very well on quality pasture) I have a very small operation only breeding 1 or 2 mares a year.
Offered open this year, but clean. I'm need to downsize my #s. 8 stalls - 9 horses.. someones got to go.
Libby is easy to breed, not shy w/ the boys and once in foal, stays that way w/ no problems or maintenance issues. Never an issue foaling, and always allows people in the stall with foal at any age.
SHe is free because, she was given to me for free, I find it unethical to sell a horse that was given to me for free. Comes with JC papers and race record.
UTD on shots, teeth, feet, coggins, etc.

I am offering my awesome producing Cabalito mare, Censation WH (Cabalito/Toy Parade xx) for free lease to a breeding home. She is a 2002, Chestnut, 16h, beautiful conf. and mover. She has had 5 FANTASTIC foals for me- several pony crosses (all who will stay ponies) and 2 full Oldenburgs (who will finish 16.2). This years filly by Edelweiss du Bonce is to die for and I really hope I can keep her. Her foals all have the most amazing temperaments- they are extremely people oriented- love attention and to work. Produces beautiful hunter types when crossed with a variety of stallions. EASY breeder, foaler, great mother. She is open this year. She is a total gem only available because I am downsizing this year due to the terrible drought here in TX.

I have two really lovely mares available, would prefer they stay on my farm and leasee covers expenses--I'm happy to handle vet appts., take mares to any inspections, etc. etc. but open to possibilities.
Bolivia, 1996 16.2h Hanoverian mare by Bordeaux (B and G lines) out of a TB mare. Bolivia competed through Intermediate level eventing; her full brother won at DaD. She has excellent conformation and exceptional gaits. 2011 filly (her first) is ridiculously fancy. Caught on first shipment, open for 2012 because we bred really late in 2010.
Vanity Fair (JC reg. Casey's Revenge), 1995 15.3h TB mare. Competed through Intermediate level eventing; her first foal, Vanity's Revenge, is competing at Preliminary and multiple 4* riders have told me she will go Advanced. Second foal is a yearling and scored an 88 at her last FEH competition. Gave her a year off and she is currently in-foal for May 2012; historically catches on first cycle live or shipped.

13 yo Oldenburg, Cor de la Bryere/Calypso II granddaughter, Goldschlager granddaughter. Proven jumper success in CA/CO, but retired at 10 due to fractured sidebone in left front. Bay, four socks, 16'3, been compared to 'Bretina' in her gates, really incredible. Bred to Pablo, as a 5 year old, gelding is gorgeous and very talented jumper, wonderful attitude! Would really like for this mare to have a job, she is a wonderful mother and took on the first try with her first and only breeding. Located in Colorado. Free Broodmare lease (at your place or mine) - can include TWO DOSES OF COR NOIR FROZEN SEMEN!!!
Dressy Affair ("Lilly") is an Oldenburg NA MMB approved TB mare (with an impressive score).
I can also offer two doses of Cor Noir frozen semen (no LFG, all breeding expenses paid by leasee). Cor Noir was owned by Hilltop Farm until his death in 2003. "He was a powerful stallion with strong mechanics that generated impressive elevation and scope in his movement. He earned the coveted Class 1 status at his 100-day test in Germany with an overall score of 123.18 points. Under Scott Hassler, Cor Noir thrived in the demands of the FEI dressage work and showed an International-quality piaffe and passage. Cor Noir’s sire, Cor de la Bryere, shaped the development of the Holsteiner breed and his influence is felt across all major registries, especially in the breeding of show jumpers. Cor Noir’s prepotency for a large frame, correct foundation, and elevated movement made this stallion a prized influence." http://www.hilltopfarminc.com/stallion_archives.html
I require a breeding lease contract and ask for a vet reference.
If you don't have space for a broodmare, but would like to breed, I can also offer a breeding lease that includes board - please inquire for details.
Please PM me for more info.
Thanks,
Sandy

I have a really cool mare for free broodmare lease. She is small (15.2) but she throws great talent. Registered with the Hungarian Horse Association. Did some low level dressage and jumpers in her time but is best suited as a broodmare. My 7 year old that she threw is an absolute joy to work with and train. He is currently working on Second Level dressage movements. I would be willing to let her go off property or keep her here. She is easy to keep. On field board now, no shoes, eats minimal grain. I could also keep her here for our field board rate. Needs a job and loves being a mommy!

1997 16.0h fleabitten Grey Trakehner Mare available for free lease. COMES WITH BREEDING to Grande Sovereign
Apache *Pb* / Amethyst / Royal Chocolate
Nice mare! Scored well at RPSI and ISR/Old NA with 7 on correctness of gaits as an out of shape 13 y/o. This girl has solid build and mechanical fundamentals for a sporthorse and is very athletic. Did CC/jumpers/dressage you name it with previous owner. I bred her in 2010, caught first cycle and lost it at 7 months to umbilical torsion. (I really do have terrible luck) I have vet records and you can talk to our repro vet as he can confirm this diagnosis, since even he was surprised to actually see the proof of it in the cord. Apparently its a common catch all diagnosis, but this time (just my luck) we had proof. Follow up biopsy and culture were pristine. Poor mare was very upset, so I know she will make a wonderful mother. She was so sweet while in foal too.
VERY easy keeper. Prefers being out and needs nothing other than a blanket in winter. Good in herd setting, have had no issues with all age groups and gelding/mare fields.
COMES WITH BREEDING to Grande Sovereign! I love this stallion and he is a lovely match for her. I cant afford to breed her and she shouldnt go another year. She can stay with me, and I can manage everything for leasee to include putting her under lights, or she can go to approved home. Would consider permanent placement to right home as well.
Email smemmo@netzero.net
She is on warmbloods-for-sale "Alacrity"
there are 3 pictures and 2 videos.
NOTE: Ali does crib when stalled. She doesn't crib on field board (fences are safe) and a miracle collar stops her in her stall. Also never cribber while in foal. Sorry to add this late. Honestly didn't think about it since I have her on field.

Scharlotte is a 3 year old mare by my stallion Schiffon *Ps* and from the same dam line as the Marefield Meadows/Celle stallion Dauphin (her granddam is a full sister to Dauphin) and the 2008 licensed stallion First Duke. She is registered but not yet inspected by ISR/Old NA.
http://www.horsetelex.com/family.php?horseid=525076
Scharlotte is now a lovely mare, black with 4 white socks and a star, but she was a dummy foal requiring intensive care for 3 weeks, and ended up with stunted growth and a joint infection that has resulted in a deformed leg. Consequently she is only about 14 hands and I would like her first breeding (2012) to be to a pony or small horse (with small horses in his pedigree) to increase our chances of an easy foaling. I don't have any connections in the pony world or anyone small enough to start one under saddle, so I would really like to find someone who would like a pony/small horse for themselves to free lease her on my farm. Scharlotte's genetics are 16.0-16.3 on both sides, so I could not guarantee the result would stay a pony.
The appropriate lessee (who would ideally be aiming the offspring for a show career) would pay all breeding-related expenses and half of the cost of feeding/vaccinating/hoof trimming. My husband is an equine vet, so he would be doing the ultrasounds, etc without charging a trip fee. We can take care of presenting the mare and foal for inspection (if eligible) and upon weaning we would provide hauling up to 300 miles from Richmond VA to your facility and just ask to be reimbursed for fuel. We could also offer boarding of the foal until age 3 at a reasonable cost. I just want to find the right person to help me give Scharlotte the best possible chance to start her breeding career while at the same time having the foal already placed.
Please email leaann.hansen at gmail.com if interested in discussing. Thanks!

Leah is a 1997, 16.1 hh, very solidly built Canadian Sport Horse. She is by Cozy’s Commander, who sired Carrick (eventer John Williams’ Olympic & WEG horse) and Zydeco (consistent 4* competitor). Her career under saddle has been limited by an old injury to her hip. She has had 4 easy, uncomplicated pregnancies & births back-to-back with her previous lessee. She is open and available for the 2012 season, and is most suitable for someone looking to breed an eventing, jumper, or hunter prospect.
Email me at mmalandrinos (at) gmail.com for pictures or videos of her and previous foals. She is currently located in Chesterfield, VA, but can go anywhere on the east coast to the right situation.

Just thought this may be a good idea for someone:
I could offer a lease of my mares. Reqiurement is they stay where they are - Germany at a good friends ;-) and stallion should be hanoverian approved, as I do not really want to take the mares somewhere to be approved for another registry.
Board (including farrier, worming, etc.), and insurance should be paid by person who "leases" and obvioulsy breeding fee plus vet costs for the breeding as such. This means the lease as such as is free, but upkeep for mare and breeding costs should be paid.
I can offer these four:
SPS Flaminia (Florencio - Prince Thatch - Lysander, born 2005). Sixth SPS in a row in the damline. Has had 2 really good foals by Benetton Dream. Will foal in April her third Benetton Dream. She is not the tallest mare, but has three real good gaits. could have a bit more freedon of shoulder, could be longer legged. Halfbrother licensed with canadian warmblood.
Wolke (Wolkenstein II - Matcho - Grenadier - Lugano, born 2003) damline of Dresemann. Also not too tall, very correct and with a very nice Weltmeyer type engine. In foal for March to Romanov at the moment.
Suaheli (Sandro Hit - Rouletto - Prince Thatch, maybe - depending on stallion and person born 2003) Fullbrother qualified for the BC and as I recently learned was nominated for the young horse world championships at Verden for the country of his owner. Owner has GP-experience and plans to take him there. Her half brother competes sucessfully in the US in FEI classes upto Inter II. Not in foal at the moment - had one by Farewell III, Benetton Dream and Romanov. Tall mare that has three very esceptional gaits and that can jump really good aswell.
SPS Djambalaya (maybe, if right stallion is chosen, born 2002). (Don Frederico - Prince Thatch - Lysander) Sixth SPS in a row in the damline. Has had only one foal and was my riding mare. Winner of Mares show, won level 2 dressage, placed in 3day event. Will foal in April by Conen. Halfbrother licensed with canadian warmblood.
Sed me a PM please if you are interested in more.

Breeding approved Oldenberg Reg #19.162 HVB 98
Sire: Graf Goetz (Hann)
Dam: Aleva (KWPN - imported) by Lucky Boy (KWPN)
Produces nice moving, well mannered, correct foals that are easy to start and have started showing.
Sire Graf Goetz produced not only GP dressage horses but was known for producing horses that had GP talent with the temperament for amateurs.
Dam Aleva is from the famous Dutch mare "Leva" line that has produced top level jumpers and dressage horses. Dam sire is Lucky Boy, one of the all time great KWPN stallions.
Mare sustained injury as a youngster and has not been sound to ride except for light trail riding and such. She continues to be a comfortable, easy horse to have on farm. Super easy breeder and exceptional mother.

Hi All - I'm interested in finding a broodmare to lease for 2012. I'm in the Seattle area and can do onsite or offsite at my place - I've got a nice little farm with a stall as well as good mud-free turnout. She would be loved and extremely well taken care of during her time at my place!
I'm looking for a Warmblood mare, preferably Hanoverian approved although I'm not set on a stallion so I'm open in that regard. I know breeding is always a gamble but I'm hoping to produce my next FEI horse so I'm looking for good conformation, dressage bloodlines, and good movement. A history of producing fancy moving offspring who do well in the dressage ring is obviously a plus :)
PM me if you've got a lovely lady who might fit the bill!

I have two warmblood mares for lease next year. Both mares are in foal for 2011, so at least until fall they need to remain with me. Both mares have conceived with fresh and frozen semen.
The first mare is a 1999 MMB GOV and Oldenburg/NA approved mare, bay with four white socks, 16.1 hh. She is by Pointmaker out of an Oldenburg approved TB. She conceives easily and is easy to handle. She has had four foals and all of them have been premium.
Second mare is a chestnut MSB 1994 Hanoverian by Kalypso out of a Diamont mare. Her foals have been successful both in-hand and undersaddle, and she has produced both dressage offspring and jumpers. Email me at jbuyny@gmail.com for details.

For 2012 lease: I have a '99 16.1 hand MSB Hanoverian mare by Kalypso out of an Armin mare who has placed well in Produce of Dam at Dressage at Devon, and has to date produced one Elite Mare now successfully show jumping (by Fuerst Gotthard), one Fuerst Gotthard colt now with several show hunter championships at AA shows, one Landkoenig colt beginning his show hunter career, one coming 3 year old filly by For Play (all of these sold quite easily as youngsters), one '11 beautiful Rubignon filly, and currently in foal again to For Play for her 7th foal. This mare is an exceptional mother, breeds/catches easily, has had uncomplicated foalings, and has exceptional movement, conformation, and very, very good feet. She is available for lease and can be rebred this May/June and stay with me until fall weaning. I'd like her to stay in the mid-Atlantic area and an exceptional
home/experienced breeder is a must. She herself has placed well also at Upperville and has won her class for older mares at a Hanoverian Mare Show. Her photos are in my Facebook albums with all of her previous foals - See KLEOPATRA R

I am looking for a mare as a recipient for embryo transfer. Perfect mare would be 12 years or younger, has had a foal, is a super momma and gets along well with other mares. Must haul well and be OK for shots. Mare would live on my farm but travel to nearby vet clinic. She will have the best care, top vet and farrier work. Any breed OK, but prefer no drafts.
Call or email Sandy at 517-862-8913 or travelhunt@aol.com
I am located in Michigan.

16 year old 15.3 hand bay Connemara-TB mare by Greystone Ian McVeigh available for free breeding lease. Polly is an exceptional mover who showed in the 3 foot divisions and has two fantastic babies on the ground - a 5 year old gelding by Rio Grande and a 3 year old gelding by Westporte. Both babies have great temperaments, are hack winners and were broken by an amateur. The 5 year old is 16.2 and currently showing with an amateur in the 2'6" divisions. Polly is a wonderful mother and is located in NY.

Looking for a new home for my beautiful bay Jockey Club registered TB broodmare. She has had five foals, the last a TB colt currently in race training, the others hunter crosses that have done well on the line as youngsters and gone on to be nice sporthorses. Lightly raced, sound, easy keeper, nice hunter movement, very easy to breed (heat obvious but not mareish, catches first time, foals easily, great mother). Vaccinations, teeth, deworming and Coggins UTD.
I have been agonizing over giving her away for a while now; she was purchased to be a broodmare and a riding project but the riding part is just not working out and I am out of options. Unfortunately her forte is raising babies, not having someone on her back, so she needs to be somewhere nice where she can do that or be a companion. Feel free to PM me for her pedigree; I do have her papers.
Please call me at 610-972-8718 or PM for more info or photos. She is located in PA and I will help with transportation within reason.

Beautiful bay with big white blaze and three white socks, 16.1, Premium approved ISR AND Oldenburg mare available for lease this year. She is open and was last bred 3.5 years ago. Very correct, beautiful mover, perfect temperament and a wonderful mother! Sire is Le Champion, dam is Foolish Wish. This mare is the total package and my lack of funds to breed her can be your gain. This is a very special mare who has only had premium foals and the judges lover her. Contact me for more information and pictures. krissy_farris@yahoo.com

Free Lease, 8 yo Chestnut TB Mare
I adopted Sky (JC Name: Cielito Lindo) from CANTER a few years ago as an event horse prospect. Unfortunately, her heart has outweighed her lack of upper level soundness. I do not want to sell Sky, eventually I would like to surrogate her to an Advanced/****, but while I am in graduate school, I would like her to go to a home where she is needed as a surrogate mare, broodmare, pasture mate or psychotherapy horse. She would not be well suited as a low level horse because she is very sensitive and high energy to the small fences. She also tends to try beyond the level that her soundness permits, so she needs to retire.
Sky and I currently live in Kansas, but she travels fantastically well. I’ve taken her to Pennsylvania and Florida several times. She is low maintaince, lives out with geldings, mares or alone. She does not have a dominant bone in her body, so is a great pasture mate for most horses. She does crib, but it is completely controlled with a collar.
Sky is incredibly sweet and loving. I love her very dearly, but to keep pursuing a riding career (and graduate school) I need to bring in another prospect.
I have photographs and video for anyone who is interested.

As it says.
She would need to be 16'1h+, big enough bodied. Had a foal, under 12 years old and reprowise healthy. She would be spending her pregnancy in Aiken, and could come home to you after weaning my foal in 2013.
Nothing too drafty please. PM if you can help, thank you:-)

Hi Everyone!
For 2012, I am looking for a TB mare to lease (purchase would also be a consideration, depending) with the following criteria:
DRESSAGE MOVEMENT (LOL!)!!!
Some manner of a competition career in dressage and/or eventing and STILL SOUND!!!...
16 HH at a minimum...
Proven broodmare would be a bonus, but is not a dealbreaker...
I can be flexible about the mare's age, but ideally would like age between 5 and 10...
I am located in central VA, take great care of my herd, have access to wonderful repro vets, etc...
IF YOU HAVE THE IDEAL TB MARE, PLEASE PM ME!
Thanks!

For Free Breeding Lease in 2012 -
5 year old, 16hh Chestnut TB Mare. She is registered with The Jockey Club. Correct conformation, excellent pedigree, nice feet, lovely movement! Very athletic mare. She is an easy keeper, can be stalled or live outside, goes barefoot and gets along with both mares and geldings (not alpha). She has experience being a babysitter for yearlings and two year-olds (she's great at it!). Great ground manners and a real sweetheart. Adapts easily to new situations as well. She is a maiden, but her dam was an excellent broodmare and had numerous healthy, successful foals.
She never raced and was in professional training for backing/basic flatwork, however, circumstances are such that I cannot continue to fund professional training right now. I also cannot continue her training myself due to time, and would love to find her a free lease breeding situation for at least the 2012 breeding season. I am flexible on terms! Located in Northern VA but can travel elsewhere.
Please PM or email jcr621 at gmail dot com for additional information, pictures, etc!

18YO long-bodied 16-hand chestnut TB mare, gets in foal easily. Has had 5-6 foals. Stakes-placed and won on the track. Good mom and produces very nice, good-sized, athletic babies. (Unfortunately thus far they don't have much talent for racing.)
A couple other well-bred (AP Indy, Dynaformer, etc.) TB mares also possibly available. Please PM for more info.

I need to find a wonderful home for an 12 year old Jockey Club registered (with papers)Thoroughbred broodmare, bay, 15.2hh, lightly raced. She is a great mother and very easy to breed and foal, has had 5 foals, both TB (currently in race training) and hunter crosses that have grown to be competitors on the line and under saddle. She is sound, an easy keeper (lives out year-round), is up to date on vaccinations, Coggins and teeth floating. She is not suitable for riding except by professionals, please do not inquire if you are looking for a riding or driving horse for children. She would make a good companion or a "babysitter" for youngsters if not used for breeding, and would be a perfect embryo transfer recipient. She would be happiest turned out 24/7 eating grass. I am very sad to have to find a new home for her, we love her but she is just not cut out to be a riding horse, which is what she was purchased to become. She is free to an approved home with references that will be checked. Please call 6 1 0 - 9 7 2- 8 7 1 8 (no emails please, too much spam on here) for more info, pedigree and photos.

Sonnysmom, that is my mare. She has been listed on here and on the giveaways page for about a month and no inquiries on here, only timewasters on CL from hours away that want to use her as a kids' riding horse/barrel race her/use her as a driving pony for the disabled (seriously). She does still need a home. Her registered name is Andy's Candi. Sorry about the photo, I didn't take it but it was the best conformation photo I had.

Looking to lease with purchase option a black Hanoverian mare (preferrably already approved with the VhW), broodmare sound, for the 2012-2013 season. Need to be a good frozen semen candidate. Not taller than 17hh. Preferrably dressage oriented pedigree but I will look at a jumper bred mare with good movement. Good dispositions are a must. Mare must not be older than 14.
We are offering excellent care, turnouts, blankets, safe fences, mares are on camera for the foaling, good hay and we have excellent references (we have leased by the past). Long term home we are, and we can sign a first right of refusal with a agreed price in case we have/need/want to sell her one day (in the event that the purchase option works out).
PM me if you have that mare or if you know someone who does!
Thanks!

I have a 15.3-16h 1998 OTTB broodmare available for breeding lease. Correct conformation, hunter movement. Two of her foals (full siblings) are very huntery movers. The third is starting an eventing career. All 3 were easy babies and conformationally correct.
Easy keeper. Excellent, quiet momma.
Would be more interested in a deal including breeding back to a smaller stallion for a future pony club mount for my daughter.
Email off list if interested. Located in Delaware. Must stay within 2 hours at an approved farm with lease signed and visits allowed.
Also have an older ISH mare that I would consider leasing very locally - must include being sent back in foal to approved stallion (refined TB).
References will be checked on all candidates.
Proven broodmare who can be bred with frozen semen. Breeds and foals easily.
Ideally, the mare is at least 16.1 with good conformation and athletic ability and good mind.
She has strong jumper lines.
She throws big, healthy, quality foals having good, solid conformation and athleticism.
European warmblood though not really registry specific as there are so many cross overs of very influential sires including those great TBs. in German, French, Dutch and other European warmbloods.

I have a pretty 2002 OTTB mare that has has 4 babies and I left open so I could sell her after her 2011 baby was weaned. She is 15.2 a gorgeous mover, has a cute jump and had a premium Oldenburg colt in 2011. He is big and expected to reach at least 16.1 hands. She is Oldenburg approved also. Her other foals, one is racing and is now stakes placed, will race. She is by Delineator (Storm Cat) out of a producing and 134k winning mare by Conquistador Cielo. I have pics and videos. She is rideable and would be best suited by someone who has experience with OTTB's. I rode her several times last fall. I would lease her to anyone within 150 miles of Tacoma/Olympia Wa.
Would prefer to sell her for a very nominal price to a good home and not have to worry about her.

Black, 16.2 dutch wb mare (but unregistered) located in GA. She is by the show jumper stallion Ommen (kwpn) out of an unknown-pedigree mare named Joyful. Turning 16 this year. She competed in the jumpers as a young horse and then as an eventer through preliminary before an injury that prevented her from progressing further. She is a proven broodmare; had one foal in 2008 after sustaining a serious injury in 2007. She was in foal after the first insemination, her pregnancy and foaling were easy, and she was a great mother. Her son is turning 4 this year and has about 90 days under saddle. So far he is everything I expected and I would love to breed her again, but I can't afford a third horse, so I would love to see her have another foal for someone else. She is a lovely mover and gorgeous horse. Message me for more info and photos; I will only lease her to someone with excellent references and who provides high quality care.

We have too many mares we want to breed this year, so are offering Welsh/TB pony mare Rosecroft Smart Cookie for a free breeding lease either in foal to Alvesta Picasso or Daventry's Power Play at no additional charge as we'd hate to see her stay open this year.
She's a 14.1 1/2 HH bay rabicano and is double registered Half Welsh, VPBA, branded and inspected ASPR and Reserve Site Champion. By Farnley Belshazzar, out of a smaller TB hunter mare who has won Championships at Pebble Beach.
She is the dam of Poster Boy (over fence picture below), who was a high seller at the Pony Finals Auction and 4th overall in his division at Pony Finals. We showed "Molly" over fences in 2009 and she was the Canadian National Champion Junior Hunter and Reserve Canadian National Champion Senior Hunter and placed 3rd Nationally in Half Welsh halter and Junior English Pleasure. Her 2003 filly tied for the highest score in North American for the Foal Championships for the American Sport Pony.
Molly is such a sweet mare, that we used her as a surrogate mare when our other foal’s dam had to be put down due to cancer. We had no problems putting the two of them together and she allowed the other little foal to nurse with no problems.
