I was stallion shopping and came across that guy:

He looks beautiful and would nicely complement my C-line Holsteiner mare.

Has anyone bred to him ? What kind of mare have you used with him ? Any foal pics ? Can anyone discuss his pedigree ?

no one stateside has bred to him, at least not with a mare standing here. he isn't here yet.... arrives in feb. yes, he will work great on many c-line mares, and from the look of him he really may be and do all that is being said of him.... hunter, jumper, dressage and eventing.

he comes from a super mother, which is always a critical aspect for me. i have a foal on the way from lasino, his half brother who is a direct landgraf son and had two children jumping at hong kong. one of those at the olympics was from a contender mare, as is my upcoming foal, so it will be a 3/4 paternal sibling.

i wonder if anyone in germany checking in on this forum might be able to speak with first hand knowledge?

Thank you for posting the links for this stallion. My friend has been after me to check him out for the last couple of months. I know she is interested in possibly breeding at least one of her mares to him and also possibly the mare I co-own with her, though that wouldn't be until at least 2011.
