Anyone tried one of these yet? I think this is there first season on the market, but I like the look of them (they look like my second favorite brand, Shires), and I like the price tag. I'd LOVE to get my horse a set of Rambo Wugs, but they are way out of my budget right now...I like the look of the high neck BoB rug, but don't know anything about them.
Anyone?

I haven't personally owned one, but a couple of the horses at my barn have them. They seem like really nice blankets and seem to hold up very well. I was actually thinking about getting a couple myself

yellow britches, how do the shires fit?
Are they for narrow chested or broader chested horses?

Wow, I was pondering this question myself. I do have a little bit of christmas money, and I've been contemplating investing in a new rambo blanket (my heavy weight schneider's doesn't fit mare quite right - I don't know why, but it keeps twisting and rubbing her withers... did not do that for the previous two horses!) or another alternative. I saw the BoB were on sale, so they were on the "maybe" list - or maybe the smartpak blankets... sigh, I don't know!

My old horse was built like a miniature sherman tank and tended to look like a canned ham when I'd try to stuff him into my Rambos. My Shires always seemed to fit him very well. They also tend not to shift around like a lot of inexpensive blankets do, which is another reason I really like them. They don't wear quite as hard as Rambos, but they are pretty tough.
Wish BoB wasn't a couple of hours drive away or I'd go and put my hands on them! I guess I might have to wait until I see them at events in Aiken.

They look pretty nice. I like the adjustable front straps with clips. But I do NOT like the idea of the belly straps going through a narrow slit in the blanket to be buckled. I just know that slit will get crusted with mud and ice and make my life miserable so I will probably not be purchasing based on that fact alone. If they made the belly closures the same as Rambo's I would probably be buying some.

I think they look pretty nice, they're on my maybe list for the pony right now. Anyone know if they fit true to size?
