I was hoping not to have to go custom but there really is no other choice. Ive been searching for over a month and cant find anything

What im looking for are a
-wool cooler lined with irish knit
-quarter sheet (fleece or wool) lined with irish knit
-rain sheet

all in Blackwatch Plaid.

Any recommendations of places are welcome!

Thank you

I know that saratoga horseworks does a blackwatch plaid wool and could make a lined cooler, for sure. However, the quarter sheet might be an issue just because I think the irish knit may catch on the hair when the horse is moving unless the horse is going to have short, clipped hair on a very very consistent basis.

I believe that many places will do a cotton lining, but yea, i've never heard of a quarter sheet with irish knit

Thanks. I will definitley try the Clothes Horse.

We have a few older irish knit lined quarter sheets at my barn. Unfortunately, the company no longer exists. We really only use them on the freshly clipped guys, and at horse shows while waiting around. Once they grow out their hair they go back to their not quite as warm polar fleece quarter sheets.

Has anyone had anything made by Integrity lately? http://www.integritylinens.com/
I have some older dress sheets and I've seen some pictures of pretty ones, but haven't seen any newer ones in person.

I got a wool dress sheet from Lyn at EE at WEF two years ago, and have gotten a lot of compliments on it. I was browsing her display of fabrics and found one I fell in love with, kind of an impulse buy.

Lyn is lovely to work with and was very helpful in terms of helping pick out the nicest trims, etc. The blankets themselves are made by Blue Ribbon though - just FYI.

I am very pleased with the stuff I got but I think if I were ordering again, I'd probably go back to The Clothes Horse or The Country Saddler. I like their wools a bit better, and both do a fantastic job on custom stuff.

I don't think anyone has posted a link to TCS so here it is. They do lovely strap goods also.

ETA: Looks like Saratoga Horseworks has a stock irish-knit lined wool cooler in blackwatch plaid... http://www.horseworks.com/inc/sdetail/137

I have an irish-knit lined rainsheet from them and LOVE it. Excellent quality.

I had one of those irish-knit lined quarter sheets and loved it!! It was OLD though... I don't even remember where I got it, and I've never seen them since. Would love to have another one.

If you can't find one though, try a regular wool quarter sheet instead of the polar fleece. MUCH warmer.

I definitely recommend The Clothes Horse. No doubt Katrina had her hands full with the holiday season, yet she managed to deliver a beautiful saddle pad in time for Christmas that my Secret Santa giftee adored.

Sadly, I would not recommend Integrity Linens even though some of the stuff being sold on ebay is beautiful. I e-mailed, got an initial response, then nothing. A few days later I called, got a rather harried sounding person on the phone who promised to call me the next day. Again, nothing. To this day I never got a return call nor any other e-mail beyond the first response. If life gets in the way a simple "I'm sorry, I can't assist you right now" would have been better than the lack of communication.

I would also try Personalized Products. They have a nice selection and I have found that their prices are more reasonable than some of the other vendors mentioned.
