Please excuse my ignorance, but what is a "Judged Pleasure/Trail Ride"?

How is this different from an endurance ride? For that matter, how is a CTR different from an endurance ride?

We only have (as far as I know!) endurance rides here in europe. Tell me what I am missing :D

Judged Pleasure Rides are approximately 10 mile long trail rides with 10 obstacles. The obstacles can either be "technical" (i.e. side passing) or "bombproofing" type (i.e. walk over a tarp).

You get up to 10 points per obstacle. There are ribbons awarded for each ride, plus ribbons awarded for the series.

They are "pleasure" rides - definitely not "eudurance" rides.
