Okay... now I'm reaching for the kleenex at work. Good thing nobody works in my office but me!

What a beautiful tribute to both Cooper and Jennie.

Damn! I thought the title said kleenex art and thought I was going to see photos of kleenex origami. Now I have to get mascara off my face before my meeting in 15 minutes.

Very touching.

That certainly sounds like the Jennie that we know here in Pa.

Wonderful, touching, simple--but so eloquent. Even while grieving this tragic loss, Jennie must appreciate this tribute to her and her very special horse; the writer's knowledge of (and affection and respect for) this young woman so clearly shines through in her words. Godspeed, Cooper, and our collective heart goes out to Jennie...all we can hope and wish for her is better luck for her horses in the future. She is obviously a "true horseman", and deserves the best in life. She has already been through the worst!

On my drive into work today Kenny Chesney's "Who you'd be today" song came on.

OMG. I was bawling thinking about [Cooper].
:cry::cry:

Sunny days seem to hurt the most
Wear the pain like a heavy coat
I feel you everywhere I go
I see your smile, I see your face
I hear you laughing in the rain
Still can't believe you're gone

It ain't fair you died too young
Like a story that had just begun
The death tore the pages all away
God knows how I miss you
All the hell that I've been through
Just knowing no one could take your place
Sometimes I wonder who you'd be today

Has anyone spoken to Jennie? Is she ok, or as well as can be expected?

I was ok until the last sentence...

Then the waterworks started.

((Hugs)) Jennie. He was an amazing guy.

I've never met them, but the loss of a horse is a pain every horsey person shares. I've got tears in my eyes reading that.

And they put the photos up on the upper right hand view window .... it makes my heart heavy to look at them.

My deepest thoughts and sympathies to this exceptional animal and his bravery through his suffering.

Wow. We should all hope that someone would write a tribute to us like that one day. Many condolences, Jennie.

A lovely post, and yet more confirmation that Becky Holder is one of the classiest acts around.

That's what I thought. Better dig out all those old photos. I took so many, I couldn't upload them all.

I hope Jennie is doing ok. Does anyone know how her other horse Ping is doing after his surgery?

I have heard through the grapevine that he is doing really well and back in work but I don't know exactly where he is in his rehab (trotting, full work etc.).
