We are hoping to have a Hydrociser (underwater treadmill) up and running at the farm by spring. As we're getting closer to actually owning the unit - we've been paying on it for awhile now - we're getting more serious about building design/layout/plumbing/electrical concerns.

I know that we can heat the water going into the treadmill and it will be located indoors. Does anyone know if there is an optimal water temp for swimming horses? I suppose I should add that since the horses are not actually swimming on the treadmill, they are only submerged to approximately their chest. What about an optimal room temp?

I'm sure we'll get alot of info with the machine and I'll obviously research this to death, but I thought maybe someone here would have some valuable info:yes:

Thanks!

Ours is normally kept @ 72 degrees, it's also located outdoors, we are in southern cali. I absolutely love them, very invaluable for rehabbing! Good luck!

Pretty cool thing to have!
72 sounds like a comfie temp...would anyone know if it's optimum to keep it a tad warmer for muscle relaxing as well? Or cooler for any reason? Just curious.
