Wow! What are the odds? Forte Tomas, "Tommy", is our second horse to be featured in USDF Connections in the sport horse connection. He was critiqued on his conformation by Jayne Ayers, a very well respected sport horse judge. At the time of the pictures, Tommy was a yearling, and he was coming into an awkward stage, which was mentioned out. The article stated that his "overall proportions are good and his parts connect smoothly over the top line and elsewhere" and that "his hind pasterns, like his front, have a length and angle that suggest a strong comfortable ride". We are so proud of our little gentleman!
Anyone interested in the article, here is a link to it on my website.

Wow! Someone who has heard of Flash! So many look at me with a blank face. After Flash was gelded, I lost track of him. Any details about him? I try to keep track of all the stallions I have bred to. I would love to update the information I have on him.

I knew Flash in person and I always liked him and his foals. VERY handsome guy.
He did a stint as a hunter horse before going back to Canaan and did well. He then went back into dressage training and I think went to Florida with Lynda Alicki for a while. Melanie Pai still owns him and still has some semen on him but only a limited amount...due to a tragic liquid nitrogen accident while transporting semen. He has had some very nice foals who have some accolades. Email Melanie for info on what he is doing these days!
