She just lost one of the most beloved Broodmares. This mare has produced some lovely foals. It breaks my heart because I was there when we found this lovely creature.
Please know she is now resting in peace in the great sky above. God Sped,, My dear Friend.....:cry:

Godspeed my dearest Constop. My only condolense is that you join my beloved Fuerst Honour over the rainbow bridge this year of 2009. This has truly been a sad year for the greatest of broodmares.:( Honestly...I'm still not over the loss of this great mare. Some things I think are so painful that time will not erase..... but maybe only dull the pain.

Hey Guys:
I just got off the phone with Robin. And this is such a sad day. From the fond memories of being there when I helped her husband pick out this mare. Until the first foal she had for them at Woodsend. Up until recently the last filly she had. THAT mare was the sweetest , most beautiful mare out there.
Robin knows we care . And most of all she did give that mare a wonderful life and for those that knew her she touched us all in so many ways ...:cry:

Thank you so much all for the kind words. We are just devastated about losing such a kind and beautiful mare so unexpectedly. Yesterday was just heart wrenching. We are just sick over her loss.

She left us with some wonderful foals. They all have her gentle temperment and loveliness. Among other things to be proud of, her 2006 colt was the IHF Champion 2 YO colt at the Finals in Kentucky last year. She left us with a stunning filly this year. It still cannot replace what she was to us- my husband's very favorite horse. She was "his" girl.

RIP our sweet Contop.
