I have some questions about possible embryo transfer and such.
I have a 29 year old mare that I positively adore, she is very sweet and athletic (or was in her day, she is still doing w/t/c x-rails with little kids and can be spunky when she decides too!) and I missed out on my chance to breed her as I have never been in a position to do so (I've owned her for 17 years).
Suddenly it occured to me that maybe I could do an embryo transfer to a surrogant. So here are my questions:
How expensive (comparitively) is it to do the harvest/transfer process?
Can embryo's be frozen in a similar way that sperm is frozen?
Has anyone ever done this? Thanks in advance for the help:D
