Can anyone tell me what they pay stall cleaners in the mid atlantic area. It looks like I am not going to have a life for the next several months and DH 'doesn't do stalls.'

Since I want a non-smoker with horse experience and references, but only have 2 horses who are on close to 24/7 turnout, I assume I'll probably have to pay top $ to make it worth their while.

Or, hopefully DD will agree to the job once she comes home for winter break.

To pay $24 to $30 per day for two horses.....that is on the low side and that was summer, minimum travel and two visits per day....:)

My boarder cleans 3 stalls, feed/turnout or bring in for $15.00. She only lives about 5 miles away though. Takes 20-30 minutes to get it all done.

Maybe you can find a teenager in the area with horse experience?

Where exactly are you? We have some part time barn help looking for extra work.

My barn (Maryland outside DC) pays $10 an hour for mucking, feeding, and turnout
No idea if that is consistent with the market
