View Full Version : Everyone should have quarter sheets for their horses

They're quite handy to wrap up in after you've gotten drenched trying to catch your horse. :p If she'd only been a good little mare and let me catch her, and not wandered off for 10 minutes, we would have been safely back in the barn when the bottom dropped out. But no ... had to lead her back up to the barn in the deluge. (The same deluge that wasn't on the radar at all 30 minutes earlier.)

This is the third time in as many weeks that it's started raining ~4:30 p.m., right as I'm getting off work, and rains for about two hours (or it stops right after I say the hell with it and head back home). :sigh:

At this rate I'll end up using my horse's quarter sheet more often than she will.

I meant to post this in Off Course. I'll blame it on the shivering I'm still doing. :(

Haha, I love it! Yes, half the time, the quarter sheet was more useful for keeping me warm than the horse! I'm the only that uses one at my barn, but got in the habit while riding horses in the winter that were body clipped.
