I am currently going to school at Randolph College in Lynchburg, Virginia and would like to let someone enjoy my horse when I return home for our holiday break. I hate to haul him all the way back to Pittsburgh for just a month if there is someone local that would be able to enjoy him for the break, maybe longer for the right situation.
A little about Harvey:
He is a six year 16.1 ISH that I just imported in September. He is incredibly intelligent and learns super fast. Was only put undersaddle as a five year old, but he has already hunted in Tipperary, schooled 1.30 meter courses, and had double clears nearly every time out this past summer in the 1.10. Harvey is super willing to try anything and is constantly saving my butt. On top if it all he is the biggest personality and thinks he is an overgrown puppy. I lead him around without any rope, ride bareback. Overall, just a very cool horse. I could go on and on about him.
I will provide pictures upon request and may consider letting him go out on a free lease for a winter circuit, but I will be very picky and you must pay insurance and he will need to be with a trainer that has excellent references.

Hello! Would your horse be suitable for equitation? May I have some pics please? I am currently looking for a short term lease.

I sent you a pm, but I think he would be a very good equitation mount.
Harvey is very adjustable, he knows his leads, lateral work, and counter canters like a champ! lol

I believe I saw your horse go at the Fall Festival - very nice! Isn't there someone at Randolph who could lease him in house??

Yup that would be Harv. Thank you very much, he was such a good boy at that show even though I was terrified about jumping in that soup!
I would love for one of the girls from the barn ride him over break, but everyone goes home because the residence halls are closed, or I would probably stay too lol.
It certainly wouldn't hurt him any to just chill for a month either, but he's just such a cool and fun horse that if there were someone local who wanted to ride him I would be happy to let that happen. Also I'm trying to send him down to Gulfport with my trainer, but if someone wanted to get some more miles on him that would be great too. He's so great because he honestly loves life so any situation I put him in he just thrives!
