I do enjoy this show, although some of the more "current" music leaves me cold. I think it's the only show this season I've seen every episode of so far.
The silliest storyline has to be the fake pregnancy- come on!
Did you hear there are only a couple of new episodes left, then nothing new until April?!?

That won't bother me. I gave up on Lost years ago!

LOVE IT. My all time favorite episode so far is the "Single Ladies" one. Too hilarious. I rarely LOL at shows but this one definitely has me cracking up every week

NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Why oh why must they always pit my favorite shows against each other?:(
My girls and I are Gleeks. DH is slowly joining our ranks as he sees more episodes - I must learn how to work the DVR before April!

Love it!!! Best new show this season--which really wasn't that hard. Can't wait to watch it tonight! :D:D

Love the music, do not love the plot. The only redeeming feature of last week's episode was Mr. Schue singing "Don't Stand So Close To Me" and they even ruined that by making it a mashup with that other song. (Don't mind me--I just love that song.) Lea Michele is fantastic but Rachel is getting a little ridiculous.
Favorite episode was the first mashup one, and because of only one line: "Also angels!"

I thought last week's episode was very appropriately awkward. It was like a masochistic flashback to high school

I *heart* Glee!
I just with they wouldn't over-produce the music so much. I mean, really, no one gets vocal effects standing in a classroom. They have toned down the Antares Autotune (yes, another Antares!) in the past few episodes, but it totally bothers me.
But I still love the show. Of course, I was a choir/band geek in school, so it's close to my heart.

I'm watching it right now. I think it's a little over the top but it's entertaining. Hopefully it won't turn into garbage like nip/tuck did.

I am totally addicted, and never miss it.
Just bought the soundtrack (vol 1, vol 2 is supposed to be out in a couple of weeks), and it's been in heavy rotation on my iPod.:D

The other thing I don't get is the whole mashup concept. Is that a big thing now?
It seems like it hardly ever really works.

Love, love, love this show. It's so much fun to watch.
Trying to figure out what posessed them to mash-up Hair and Beyonce this week? Random.

At least she's actually pregnant, unlike Will's awful wife.
I will say the whole thing where A likes B, but B likes C, and C likes D, who's only interested in A, actually seems pretty much the way I remember high school.
They've just updated it with the sexting and the Curt/Finn/Rachel/Quinn twist. ;)

Hulu is your friend!
I'm sort of ambivalent about Glee. I always pick apart how totally unrealistic each episode is, but I keep coming back for more....
Quinn ... seriously .... I dislike her. Then again, Puck is a complete idiot. If he wanted people to know that was his kid, it wouldn't exactly be hard to prove...

I am such a Gleek! I bought the season pass from itunes so I have every episode and I've downloaded all the songs. It's completely over the top and the plot is ridiculous. Part of the reason I do find it so entertaining I think. But I love the music. Then again I was in show choir in high school...

Another Gleek here. I fell in love with the pilot and watched it MANY times on hulu before the season started. Just bought Vol 1 of the soundtrack and a few of the songs not on vol 1 (waited for vol 1 to come out because it was a much better deal than buying individually.)
The show is perfect, IMO. So over the top but still grounded in real emotion. Jane Lynch is beyond hilarious.
The music is fun, although over produced. (It was great when they just had them sing in the room together.) I loved the first mash-ups.
Last week ep was the weakest so far, IMO. There was too much possibility to showcase the cast but the focus was so small (Rachel/Will, Finn/Kurt).
Quinn is pretty awful but if Finn is dumb enough to think he got her pregnant in a hot tub, too bad for him.

Finn is an idiot. Quinn is a whore. Rachel is ridiculous. Terri is a wench. Can we kick all of them to the curb and make the show about Artie, Mercedes, and Kurt?

Nope. I'll stop watching. It's so good because of the over the top ridiculousness.
I HATE Terri, but I can't wait to see what she comes up with. Love her sister as well.
As awful as Quinn is, she's one of the more grounded characters. She's scared, confused and trying to live up to an image of what she thinks her life should be like. Unfortunately, she hasn't realized what a horrible person that makes her.

Again, not that far off the mark for many high school kids- and many other people.

oh my gosh, i am seriously 110% addicted. I routinely play the soundtrack over and over and over again. I have never been into a show so much (well except for True Blood) and plan on attending their summer concert with friends who are just as addicted as I am!
