I've got the pies and the chutney done, listening to Trains new disc "Save Me, San Francisco" and John Mayer "Battle Studies".
Not sure what I think about the John Mayer so far, I suspect I will need to listen to the lyrics closer, but the Train ROCKS!!!!

I have got quite a range that I like!
Carrie Underwood, "Play On"
Lady Gaga, "Fame Monster"
John Mayer, "Battle Studies"
Jessie James, "Jessie James"
Last and definitely not least, Adam Lambert, "For You Entertainment"!
They are all very different from each other.

I love Train.... have you seen any of their Led Zepp covers on youtube? Takes some serious guts to tackle a band like that but Pat Monahan does a pretty good job....
Will always love anything John Mayer puts out, though I think his last album was my fave so we'll see how this one stacks up.
I like The Script too, actually a similar sound to Train... don't think they've quite caught on yet over here so haven't been overplayed.
Been digging out some faves lately, Blue Rodeo, Counting Crows, Regina Spektor, Bruce Hornsby, Don Henley, Matchox20...

Although it's a couple of months old, I have the new Alice in Chains album on repeat at the moment. It was one of those CDs which I thought was 'eh' on first listen but it has certainly grown on me.

I second Owl City.
Also- John Mayer's new CD is INCREDIBLE. It's wonderful post-"breakup" soul soother.
And Daughtry's new one (okay, it may not be "new") Leave This Town- ("Tennessee Line" and "Life After You" are my two favorites)
And Colbie Caillat's "Breakthrough"
