I'm going to be in the market for a new medium weight for the blanket destroyer soon.

I'd specifically like something with a non detachable full neck with fill in the neck.

I've seen a few possibilities, but i'd love to see more, or hear opinions on any.

A little concerned with the velcro neck closures. Looks potentially wimpy.

Shires had one, which I can no longer locate.

Pasturemate has the Joules combo blanket, so that one is out.

Saxon makes a great medium weight one with an attached neck - I think I got it at horse.com. Mine are a purple plaid and my guys wore theirs during a nasty ice storm and they were warm and toasty and the blankets were super waterproof. Got them for $89.00 each.......two thumbs up!

OOPS - that is the same blanket you referenced! I love mine - they are pretty tough, and they do run a bit big, which is good so they don't pull on their necks when they put their heads down to eat.

Behold, the mighty power of Google.

I got it in blackberry plaid from State Line a few weeks ago, but mine doesn't have velcro, it has three plastic clips. They're easier to do up than velcro, but probably wouldn't survive a blanket destroyer. The other integrated neck I have, the Landa Freestyle sheet, has double lock velcro, and it is very sticky--can't imagine it comes undone under most circumstances--mine never has, although my horse is fairly easy on blankets.

While all three of those are the style i'm looking for, they are all heavy weights. I need something in the 200g range.

I like the look of the Landa. It's a shame it only seems to come in a sheet (that I can find at least).

Landa high neck blanket (220g) (http://www.adamshorsesupply.com/browse.cfm/4,792.html))

ETA: Oh, wait, this is just the high neck, not the integrated neck.
