View Full Version : Stupid question- need a very thin whip.

I'm at my wits end- I've been trying to hunt down a very thin dressage whip with a lash. My fingers are short, so I have a great amount of difficulty keeping them closed on the reins with a 'normal' whip. All of the thin ones I'm finding have a leather popper. Local tack stores don't have much of a selection outside of colors. I know this is pretty trivial but it's driving me nuts. Any other tiny-handed riders in here who can direct me to a source?

I have muppet hands.
Although highly unattractive, this whip is the slimmest one I've found. Plus, the big knob keeps it from sliding through my fist.

And here's another one that's skinny w/a lash, not a popper.

I have one of these and you don't even feel it in your hand, it is so well balanced.

I've never dropped it either

Had mine about 3 years.

Excellent investment.

I had one as well. LOVED it. Well balanced is exactly what it is. Sadly, someone ran off with mine. GRRRR!

It's a wonderful whip, and the price is overly reasonable.
