Due to circumstances I am not sure I am ever going to get this horse going undersaddle and think it might be best for me to rehome him if I can find the perfect home. So if you are interested, expect to be vetted thoroughly

16h 4 year old dark dapple grey TB/QHx gelding, unregistered. He is 3/4 QH and 1/4 TB, his grandfather is Sky's Boy Blue and his mother was a Blue Larkspur mare. Incidentally he is quite blue colored when he is clean and I suspect he is a blue roan that is greying. Four black legs, black mane and a skunk tail. Great conformation, uphill, nice hunter mover. He would make a nice lower level dressage horse. I don't think he wants to event or hunt but he will be great on trails.

This horse has been backed and walked around u/s. He is extremely easy going and always has been - no vices, easy to work w/, he is the born broke type. Will be bomb proof w/exposure. Loads, ties, clips, safe to handle unhaltered, gets along w/everyone in the pasture. Likes to be stalled but will live out happily if blanketed. Barefoot now w/decent feet, I suspect he will need front shoes if in hard work.

He eats an EPSM diet and requires additional sel/e or or his left stifle gets sticky.

This horse is not at risk in any way and I will not give him to anyone who has the intention to resell him. He is always welcome to come back here should someone not be happy with him, I just think he is too nice a horse to be wasted as it appears he is going to be.

I've had him since he was a weanling and all of his vaccs are up to date, he has always been powerpacked and dewormed on time, had his teeth done every year and is in excellent weight, health and condition. He is in NC and I will forward pics to anyone interested.

Well of course you can. Just say the word and he's yours. About that farmette, I don't know  I had quite a collection when I bought my farm, it was motivating factor to say the least..

Is he still a fan of Heineken? Maybe I could convince Mr. FG, since he's a beer loving horse and we all know how much my British husband likes beer too.

I will always remember him demolishing that jolly ball and Dan looking on going, WTH young man, you're wasting all that energy, you should be eating grass....

While there are many days I think, why can't we live closer, it is probably better you live far away. You have too many nice horses. I need to stop talking to you. Or something.

Wish I had someone for him! I do have a student in vet tech school that will need a new horse when she graduates, she is an awesome rider and has ridden many greenies for me over the years. Unfortunately lost her "forever" horse to colic a couple of years ago. But she is so busy with making sure she gets thru this TOUGH vet tech program at CCC that she doesn't get to ride except when she comes home on holidays

Sorry that my PM box got full, lots of responses on this boy!

To inspire you all, here is a pic of his lovely rear end. He is the grey :) I will have time to thoughtfully return PM's tomorrow, thanks for your patience!

UGH, why did I open this thread....

To all who are interested...I've met this boy in person and he is super nice and has a great personality...I even entertained notions of buying him a couple years back...but my mare decided that I was her forever home..LOL!

I could just see this boy after a few months under JK's training....if only I were rich. sigh.

Agree, I love him too, he's adorable. And he's had the best upbringing possible with EqT. If I weren't popping out a human baby this spring, I'd be all over this one, no question.

Wondering if by any miracle your gelding is still looking for a perfect fit and home? I'm located in Winston Salem and I'm very interested...
Thanks!
