Hey everyone,

I am a volunteer with Friends of Ferdinand, Inc.. I think most of you have at least heard of FFI. FFI is a 501(c)3 non-profit that transitions Thoroughbred exracers from the track to new careers. We specialize in retraining horses for new careers before they go off to new homes because we feel that giving skills to these exracer is the best way to keep them out of harms way. Since our inception in 2005, we have helped over 200 horses find new homes off the track through both our track listing program and our foster program. In addition, we have no full time employees -- we're completely run by volunteers. 97% of all the money we raise goes directly to the horses, their care and their retraining.

So...how can you help? FFI is in the running for a $25,000 grant from Chase. We need as many votes as possible to be considered and would appreciate it if you all here would consider voting for us.

Click here to go to the voting page! (http://apps.facebook.com/chasecommunitygiving/charities/301819?src=embed)

You do have to be a member of Facebook in order to vote. I think its also important to note that you'll also be able to vote for other organizations you believe in, so its not as though you're giving up your vote to FFI.

Here is the FFI website if you'd like to learn more about what FFI does: www.FriendsofFerdinand.org (http://www.FriendsofFerdinand.org)

Thanks guys!
