Gunnar was hit by a car on Rt 926 right next door to New Bolton Center on Sat eve, 11/7. The driver told onlookers he would take the dog to the vet, put him in the car and took off. Gunnar has not been seen since. He is desperately missed by his owners. Please, if you have seen him or have any info, please contact the owners at 610-925-0121 or 610-880-1004 or email me Bev@MidAtlanticHorseRescue.org

Gunnar is a 9yo black and white purebred male Border Collie. Reward for info leading to his return- no questions asked.

Hopefully this thread will lead to a happy ending........

I got this email too and sent it to local people in hopes they will also forward it. Please let us know if they find him. I hope it's not too late, how awful.

I am doing an internship at New Bolton right now and I go over at least twice a week. I will be on the lookout!

Bump.

How awful- hope he gets home safe and sound.

Have they checked with all the vets in a 100 mile radius? The person could have dropped him at a random vet clinic and never returned for him.

Hope you find out something about Gunnar! It is possible though that he did not make it after being hit while being taken to a vet and the driver didn't have the heart to tell the owners that... But I hope he's alive, safe, and sound and is found soon!

I thought of that, too, but I hope it's not the case.

I will say that my parents had a small animal practice, and there were plenty of animals that came in and were never picked up, especially as a result of accidents. That's why I hope the owners have checked with all the local vets.
