Is it Mongolian? Having to do with Genghis Khan? I tried to work back through the web link but the site seems to be Chinese?

The Czech national Saint riding a dead horse, of so fitting for some topics.

ugh! I saw that in Prague. It hangs in a shopping mall. As I was walking up to it I remember thinking... there is no way that is what I think it is.

It was.

urk.

I'd always wondered why Americans insist on calling it "horseback riding" rather than "horse riding". It seemed redundant to me. Seems "horsefront riding" does happen, so I guess you need to specify.

It's disturbing and intriguing at the same time. I guess no significant statement but just a parody  I love a good political parody - but don't we sing a song about Wenceslas at Christmas time  - of course the touge sticking out is interesting.......hmmmmmm

When you bring 'horse front riding' into play, 'horseback riding' suddenly aquires a sinister meaning.

And the statue it's parodying:

That is a hairraising statue.

I don't think I would have hung it there, a little disturbing.
Maybe somewhere in a corner, not where so much traffic goes by.

Who wants their customers to come in already spooked?
I would think they want them happy and wanting to laugh and spend.;)

Well, I suppose it caught my eye while in the middle of one of those discussions....it just fit so well!

( actually enjoy the detail with the tongue, then again I am weird in some things)

I think it would be appropriate to hang it in the government building. Gives a very literal meaning to the term beat a dead horse.

I like this idea better: the horse gets to stand on the back of a dead politician. So many from which we wish we could choose!
